  • Publication number: 20130060077
Abstract: The subject matter of the present invention is a pump arrangement (1, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50), in particular for use in the body's own vessels, having a pump (11, 41, 51) and a sheath (12, 42, 52) receiving the pump, bounding a flow passage (S) and having a distal intake opening (13, 43, 53) and a proximal outflow opening (14, 29, 39, 44, 54) for producing a driving flow by means of the pump, wherein the pump is arranged in a first fluid-tight section (12a, 42a, 52a) having the distal intake opening and a second fluid-tight section (12b, 42b, 52b) includes the proximal outflow opening. In accordance with the invention, a further inlet opening (15) is present between the first section and the second section and is arranged between the intake opening and the outflow opening, with the first section and the second section being arranged with respect to one another such that the inlet opening opens into the flow proximal to the pump.

  • Publication number: 20130019968
Abstract: The invention relates to a conveying device for conveying a fluid in a conveying direction (9) having one or more drive bodies (1, 1?, 1?, 1??, 11, 11?, 11?, 11??) which can be driven in an oscillating manner by means of a drive system (15, 15?) transversely to the conveying direction. An acceleration of the fluid is achieved by a corresponding movement in translation or by a partially pivoting movement of the drive bodies in the manner of the fin principle known from biology (e.g. aerodynamics and hydrodynamics).

  • Publication number: 20120264523
Abstract: In accordance with the invention, a flexible shaft arrangement is provided having a ductile shaft, a sleeve which surrounds the shaft as well as a jacket which surrounds the shaft and the sleeve. The sleeve extends in accordance with the invention within the jacket at least sectionally in arcuate form and thus produces a contact of the shaft at the inner contour of the sleeve point-wise. Vibrations or knocks of the shaft are hereby effectively damped.

  • Publication number: 20120265002
Abstract: The invention relates to a flexible shaft arrangement having a flexible hollow shaft which has an end at the drive side and an end at the output side, wherein the hollow shaft is reinforced sectionally between these ends by a core extending in its interior. Stiffer and more flexible sections can hereby be selectively positioned within the shaft arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20120184803
Abstract: The invention relates to a catheter device, having a hollow catheter (1) in the catheter cavity (29) of which a moveable shaft (2) is guided, having a proximal coupling device, for detachable coupling of a drive device (11), the coupling device having a coupling cavity (7) which is open towards the drive device and into which the shaft (2) or an extension (5) of the shaft protrudes with a connection element for mechanical coupling of a motor shaft (16), the coupling cavity having a germ barrier (9, 9?) for reducing the pathogenicity of pathogenic substances or microorganisms.

  • Publication number: 20120101455
Abstract: In the case of a shaft arrangement having a shaft (7) which extends within a casing (1) filled with a fluid and which can be actuated by means of a drive (8) from outwith the casing (1), the shaft (7) having on its outer peripheral surface a surface structure which conveys the fluid in a flow direction (30) in the longitudinal direction of the shaft during rotation, a sleeve (19) is provided according to the invention, which can rotate with the shaft and has at least one conveying element (20) for conveying the fluid in a counterflow direction opposite to the flow direction. As a result, a bubble-free conveyance of the fluid along the shaft (7) is facilitated.

  • Publication number: 20120093628
Abstract: The invention relates to a fluid pump device, in particular for the medical application, with a compressible pump housing (6) and rotor (7), as well as with an actuation means (8) which runs in the sleeve (4) and on whose end the fluid pump is arranged. In order to utilise all possibilities of a space-saving arrangement of the respective pump housing of the rotor, which is compressible per se, and as the case a bearing arrangement, the mentioned elements are displaceable to one another in the axial direction compared to an operation position. In particular these elements may be end-configured by way of an axial movement of the drive shaft after the assembly.
