Abstract: A plug-in housing module for forming an especially explosion-proof switchgear/distribution panel with a number of plug-in points contacts electrical connection devices when occupying its plugged-in position, and is detachably fixed to carrier rails or the like of a frame of the switchgear/distribution panel in the plugged-in position. The aim of the invention is to improve such a plug-in housing module in such a way that, without switching the entire panel off circuit, a plug-in housing module can be easily inserted into a corresponding plug-in point or removed therefrom even by an untrained person.

Abstract: A housing (1), especially an explosion-proof housing, comprises at least one lower housing part (3) which is provided with a housing wall and has a housing opening (5) that can be closed by an articulated cover (4), wherein the articulated cover (4) is mounted by means of an articulation device (6) to be pivotable between an opened and a closed position (7, 8). In order to improve such a housing to allow both a closely adjacent arrangement of housings and the complete utilization of the housing interior, the articulation device (6) comprises a lower articulation part (9) arranged in the housing wall (2), and an upper articulation part (11) arranged on a lower side (10) of the articulated cover (4) which faces the housing opening (5) in a closed position (8), which are pivotably interconnected.

Abstract: A cable bushing device is used to pass an electrical cable through, in particular, two adjacent housings which are explosion and/or flame-proof. The cable bushing device includes a sleeve-like external body which can be inserted by the opposite first and second end sections into corresponding housing bores. Furthermore, the device has an insert inserted into an axial opening of the external body for retaining the electrical cables passed through the device and a fixing device for fastening the device to at least one housing.

Abstract: The electric plug connector is intended to be used especially for explosion-proof areas. It comprises a plug and a socket. The latter includes in a housing a socket insert which, in the inserted condition of the plugs, is supported such that it is rotatable between an off position and an on position. In said socket a locking means is supported such that it is adjustable between a locking position and a release position, said locking means being provided with at least one coding projection which, in the condition in which the plug is inserted in the socket, projects into a complementary coding aperture and releases the locking means, whereupon the socket can be switched from said off position to said on position.

In order to simplify such an explosion-proof connector in a way that it can be handled more easily especially when disconnecting plug part and socket part while maintaining explosion proofness, one housing (4, 7) comprises an outer sleeve (10) which is detachably connectable to the other housing (7, 4), a first gap (11) being formed between outer sleeve (10) and other housing (7, 4) and a second gap (12) between outer sleeve (10) and associated insert (4, 8) already before electrically contacting plug pins (6) and socket contacts (9) for realizing type of protection d, flameproof enclosure, and type of protection e, increased safety, respectively.

Abstract: This invention relates to a branching device (1, 25) for at least one electric line. The branching device exhibits branching contacts and a housing (2) in which at least one electrically conducting wire terminal (11) is accommodated in a holder (10, 26). The device is characterised in that contact lips (44, 46) with cutting edges (48) for cutting through the insulation (25) of the wires (50) of the electric line are provided on the wire terminal (11), in that the wire terminals (11) represent the branching contacts and in that a through-channel (47) for the uninterrupted passage of a wire (50) is provided in each wire terminal (11).

Abstract: A plug includes at least one plug body having an axial bore, with a cable being insertable into the plug body at the one end of the plug body, and which can be connected to electric contact elements arranged at the second end. The first end has an associated strain relief mechanism including at least two clamping elements adjustably supported for clamping the cable. The plug body also has at least two sliding guides open to the outside in the direction toward the axial bore, in which the clamping elements are movably guided.
