  • Patent number: 11772678
Abstract: A method for outputting recommendations for energy efficient operation of a vehicle having at least two modes of operation, from which an operating mode is respectively selected by a drive controller, depending on the occurrence of specified triggers, for operating the vehicle. A change of operating mode caused by the trigger is determined. A frequency of the change of operating mode is incremented at every determination of the change of operating mode caused by the trigger. The frequency is analyzed by comparing the frequency of the change of operating mode a predetermined value. A message is generated on a case-by-case basis. The message is output via at least one output comprised by the vehicle.

    Assignee: MERCEDES-BENZ GROUP AG
Inventors: Steven Peters, Reiner Paetzold, Teresa Botschen, Alexander Schmitt, Frank Nebel, Stefan Ultes, Wolfgang Maier, Ingo Kreuz

  • Patent number: 7918756
Abstract: In a hybrid transmission for a hybrid motor vehicle, with split power driving ranges, discrete gear steps and two electric drive motors (33, 34), a transmission arrangement is provided which results in low rotational speeds of the transmission elements, in particular of the planets while at the same time, the electric drive motors (33, 34) are disposed adjacent to one another at the input end of the transmission next to an internal combustion engine to which the transmission is connected.

  • Patent number: 6729200
Abstract: In a selector device for a change-speed gearbox, a selector shaft arranged in such a way as to be rotatable and axially displaceable relative to a housing is connected by respective auxiliary mechanisms for converting a reciprocating motion into a rotary motion by at least two choosing sleeves that are arranged concentrically, rotatably and in an axially displaceable manner relative to it and are fixed rotatably and in an axially nondisplaceable manner relative to the housing when firmly braked by respective brakes. In significant angular positions, the selector shaft can be actuated out of a neutral position in one of the two axial directions of its axis of rotation into an end position associated with a respective gear. The auxiliary mechanisms are harmonized in such a way with one another that the respective new gear can be chosen initially and selected by external actuation of the selector shaft in just one direction of its axis of rotation and selective engagement of one, two or none of the brakes.

  • Patent number: 5419616
Abstract: A locking device for a seat back of a motor vehicle seat with two unlocking levers pivotably mounted on the seat back frame, one of the levers projecting on the left side and the other on the right side of the seat back from the seat back cushion. The levers are connected by a flexible tensioning element with an unlocking latch pivotably mounted on the seat back frame. To compensate for play in the locking device after the seat back frame has been completely upholstered and for rattle-free mounting of the unlocking levers, the tensioning element has a tensioning cable guided in two separate flexible sheaths. The tension cable is fastened to the first unlocking lever and to the locking latch and is guided at the second unlocking lever over a deflecting roller mounted thereon.
