  • Publication number: 20100229766
Abstract: A supporting table with a supporting surface which is variable in size for plate-like materials, with a link conveyor which forms the supporting surface and is composed of individual bearing elements which are mounted at their end sides on a table frame and are guided via deflecting rollers movable along the table frame. The link conveyor has transport chains on both sides with pins protruding on both sides, the pins of an outer chain link being assigned to a bearing element, the pins facing the bearing element being fixed on the bearing element and those pins of a bearing element which face the table frame having a slide, which is movable in the axial direction of the pins, for optional engagement with the table frame.

  • Patent number: 7735635
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement and a method for the separation and removal of plate-shaped workpieces (7) out of the proximity of a separating device, which arrangement and method are intended for the automatic removal of such workpieces. For this purpose a bearing surface (2, 3) of a two-piece supporting table (4) is replaced by a second supporting table (6), which, together with the remaining bearing surface (3, 2), is moved and therein accepts the workpiece (7) completely. The second supporting table (6) subsequently carries the workpiece (7) completely out of the proximity of the first supporting table (4). The arrangement and the method permit separating the workpieces without damage to the support and the rapid and precise removal of the worked workpieces as well as of the trimmings.

  • Patent number: 7619180
Abstract: A laser head of laser beam processing machine which comprises a housing, in the interior of which a beam compartment and at the end thereof a nozzle for the laser beam and a working gas to exit are disposed. A dome-shaped nozzle head is provided on the housing and has alternating nozzles disposed on the interior. These nozzles are held rotatable about an axis of rotation and can be introduced into the beam path of the laser beam. The axis of rotation is located on an eccentric disk so that a one-off adjustment can be carried out while the nozzle head is exchanged. The nozzles on the nozzle plate can be exchanged without additional adjustment and thus also automatically, thereby avoiding the need for a complicated adjustment and handling during exchange of the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 6963047
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for accommodating flat materials when separated by laser, water-jet, cutting torch or milling. The slot provided under the separating device is displaced by enlarging one bearing surface and reducing the size of the other bearing surface when the separating device is moved, whereby damage to the bearing surface is reduced when cutting any particular contours. The invention enables separation, targeted sorting of the separated parts and the clearing away of the remaining materials.

  • Patent number: 6505993
Abstract: A method and a device for braking vehicles, in particular race car vehicles at the edge of a racetrack, whereby an elastic, safety wall consisting of individual elements linked together movably like a chain and extending far beyond the critical location is arranged in a clearance adjacent to the critical location of the racetrack. A vehicle coming off the racetrack and colliding with the safety wall is braked by the elastic movement of the safety wall with the vehicle. This inexpensive method of manufacturing a safe safety wall guarantees linear and soft deceleration of a vehicle, greatly improving the safety of the race car drivers.
