  • Publication number: 20160107543
Abstract: A bench seat, in particular a rear bench seat, in a vehicle, includes at least two seats, wherein each seat has at least one seat part which is delimited by side parts. In order to create a bench seat which enables seat positions which are comfortable as a two-seater or as a three-seater, the seat part is adjustable in such a way that it can be moved from a lowered position, in which the side parts form a lateral guide for the seat part, into a raised position, in which the seat part and the side parts form a substantially planar surface.

  • Patent number: 7204467
Abstract: In a longitudinal adjuster (1) for a vehicle seat, in particular for an automobile seat, with a first seat rail (3), a second seat rail (4) adapted for sliding movement relative to the first seat rail (3), and an engagement member (8) arranged on the second seat rail (4), the first seat rail (3) includes a stop plate (15) with first stop surfaces. The first stop surfaces cooperate with second stop surfaces of the engagement member (8) for limiting the movement of the seat rail (3, 4).

  • Patent number: 6375247
Abstract: The invention concerns a body of a motor vehicle with at least one seat module. The purpose of the invention is to simplify the assembly of the seats in the body and at the same time to reinforce the body. For this purpose it is proposed that the seat module include a floor part, at least one seat, the seat adjusting elements, the seat covering parts, the electrical wires connected to the seat and a floor covering and that it be preassembled outside of the body. The floor part has supporting edges at its periphery which are supported in adhesive channels on the load-bearing structure of the body. The seat module is inserted as a prefabricated unit into the load-bearing structure of the body in such a way that the floor part in the region of the seat module forms a double floor with the vehicle floor of the body.

  • Publication number: 20020033625
Abstract: In a supplemental locking mechanism (11) for a longitudinal adjuster of a vehicle seat, in particular for a longitudinal adjuster of an automobile seat, wherein an upper rail (4) extends for sliding movement in a lower rail (5) and is adapted for being locked with same, the supplemental locking mechanism (11) being inactive in the normal case, and locking the upper rail (4) with the lower rail (5) only in the event of a crash. A part of a safety belt system is arranged on a belt adapter (12), which is secured to the upper rail (4), with the mounted component of the safety belt system moving in the event of a crash at least one part (12′″) of the belt adapter (12) in a defined manner relative to the upper rail (4) and to the lower rail (5), thereby engaging the supplemental locking device (11).

  • Patent number: 6196628
Abstract: The fastening device consists of at least one retaining element 13 attached to the seat of the vehicle, this element holding a fastening element 14, which can be moved between a service position and an out-of-service position (parking position). So that the fastening element 14 can be moved easily into the service position and then again into the parking position without the need for any force-transferring element installed at a remote location, the fastening element 14 is connected to the retaining element 13 by means of a latching mechanism 17, which makes it possible for the fastening element 14 to be lowered into a parking position and returned to a service position.
