  • Patent number: 9440429
Abstract: A drying light source (1), in which the light of a number of single light sources (3) is applied heterodyned and bundled to an object level (5) with the help of optical elements (6, 4, 7, 8).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 8, 2010
Date of Patent: September 13, 2016
    Assignee: VOLPI AG
    Inventor: Reinhard Jenny
  • Publication number: 20150103555
Abstract: Lighting device (1) for coupling light into a fiber optic element (3), comprising at least one light source (2) and a light guide body (4). The light guide body is designed in the form of an intersecting/penetrating body (5) with multiple light inlet surfaces (6, 6?) and with a light outlet surface (7) for the spectral and energetic homogenization of the outlet-side luminous flux (luminous intensity distribution) of the light guide body (4). Each of the light inlet surfaces (6, 6?) is paired with a light source (2, 2?). The light outlet surface (7) is optically coupled to the fiber optic element (3). The intensity distribution across the light outlet surface (7) of at least one of the radiations coupled into the inlet surfaces (6, 6?) does not have inhomogeneities.

  • Publication number: 20050117336
Abstract: The invention relates to an illuminating device comprising a light source (1, 9), disposed along a line, for illuminating a line surface (3), and at least one linear optical element (2, 10). In order to compensate for the vignetting produced by the optical element (2, 10), a diaphragm (6) is provided that produces a numerical aperture that is variable in the direction of the line.

  • Patent number: 5369466
Abstract: The exposure system includes a bulb housing, an ellipsoid reflector, and a light source located near a first focal point of the ellipsoid reflector. With respect to the light beam path, an optical unit is located in front of the plane of an original to be copied in order to produce a desired distribution of the exposure intensity onto the original. Imaging optics are located in a light beam path behind the plane of the original, for reproducing the original onto photographic copying material. Furthermore, the exposure system includes a device for dyeing the light that illuminates the original. The device for dyeing is located in the light beam path in front of the optical unit and includes color filters which can be moved into and out of the light beam path on a plane that is perpendicular to the optical axis. The light source can be moved along the optical axis.
