The flap is closed with only the two tool. Particularly by the use of the pressing means, the flap can be pressed against until such time as glue, applied in the preceding step, has bonded. To adapt to different widths of the package, only one tool has to be exchanged. The folding means need not be changed, since it is adapted for the widest possible package.

A gluing station applies an adhesive to the blister and/or to a card, with the card having at least one opening that is matched to the geometry of a pocket of the blister. An insertion device is provided that sets the card into place on the blister.
