Publication number: 20210363982Abstract: A compressor for compressing coolant circulating in a cooling circuit, wherein the compressor includes at least one receiving element for spring elements carrying a compressor/motor unit. With its casing element, this receiving element protrudes past a sump height of a lubricant sump in a vertical direction, which lubricant sump forms in the housing interior in an operating state of the compressor. Because lubricant is constantly distributed throughout the entire housing interior in the operating state—caused by the motion of the movable parts of the compressor—lubricant also collects within a receiving volume of the receiving element, where it forms a level that is clearly above the sump height of the lubricant sump as viewed in a vertical direction. As a result, a damping of the spring elements is achieved by the lubricant, and therefore without the inclusion of additional means elements.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 19, 2018Publication date: November 25, 2021Applicant: Secop GmbHInventors: Hans Peter SCHÖGLER, Reinhard RESCH

Patent number: 5558413Abstract: In a brake-pressure control device for a road vehicle having a hydraulic two-circuit brake system with front-axle/rear-axle brake circuit distribution, an anti-lock brake system (ABS) operates according to the recirculation principle and a device for dynamic movement control (FDR) requires the wheel brakes to be individually capable of automatic activation. The recirculation pumps of the ABS are utilized as pressure sources. The recirculation pump of the rear-axle brake circuit is constructed as a self-priming pump while the recirculation pump of the front-axle brake circuit is constructed as a non-self priming pump. The minimum pressure which is required for the input supply of the non-self priming pump is produced by a precharging cylinder which is connected between the main cylinder of the brake system and the ABS hydraulic unit. This precharging cylinder has a hydraulic or pneumatic drive cylinder for whose pressure supply a built-in hydraulic or pneumatic pressure source, e.g.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 1995Date of Patent: September 24, 1996Assignee: Mercedes-Benz AGInventor: Reinhard Resch

Patent number: 5501514Abstract: A vehicle hydraulic brake system having an anti-lock protection device and an automatic braking system, particularly when driving around bends. During automatic braking, an auxiliary pressure source supplies a pressure instead of the main brake cylinder and this pressure can be individually set by pressure reduction in the wheel brakes by means of the anti-lock protection device. For this purpose, cylinders with separating pistons are located between the auxiliary pressure source and the anti-lock protection device. The auxiliary pressure source supplies substantially lower auxiliary pressures than known systems by supplying pressure to the inlets of feed-back pumps by arranging valves which permit temporary pressure increases to the extent necessary for automatic braking by means of these feed-back pumps. The system requires less energy and less noise is caused in automatic braking operations.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 1994Date of Patent: March 26, 1996Assignees: Robert Bosch GmbH, Mercedes Benz AGInventors: Reinhard Resch, Anton van Zanten, Rainer Lauer, deceased, Regina Schroff-Lauer, heir, Joscha Lauer, heir, Rainer Altmann, Ju/ rgen Binder, Michael-Raymond Meyer

Patent number: 4877296Abstract: An antilocking braking system which operates by controlling the pressure reduction and pressure build-up phases at vehicle wheel brakes by changing the volume of a primary chamber of a pressure modulator, to which the wheel brakes are connected via a brake pressure 2/2-way solenoid controlled valve and an inlet valve. The primary chamber of the pressure modulator is connected to a pressure output of a brake booster. The pressure modulator is designed as a hydraulically driven pump whose feed volume per stroke corresponds to approximately 25% to 50% of the maximum brake fluid quantity which can be expelled into the connected brake circuit, and if, when the inlet valve is closed, one stroke of the pump is not sufficient to achieve a required pressure reduction at the connected wheel brakes, then the pump is switched to a return feed mode in that the brake pressure control valves are driven to their blocking positions and the inlet valve is driven to its open position.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 1988Date of Patent: October 31, 1989Assignee: Daimler-Benz AktiengesellschaftInventors: Heinz Leiber, Reinhard Resch

Patent number: 4846534Abstract: In an antilocking braking system, a pressure modulator is provided for the control of pressure reduction and pressure build-up phases, wherein a drive pressure space of this modulator is placed under a pressure control to move a modulator piston into an end position associated with a minimum volume of a work chamber, which forms a section of the master brake line. In this end position, a spring-loaded inlet valve, connected between the work chamber of the pressure modulator and the brake booster of the brake system, is held in its open position by a tappet. As a result of pressure release in the drive pressure space, the modulator piston is displaced in the direction of its end position associated with a maximum volume of the work chamber, so that brake fluid can flow back into the work chamber from one or more wheel brakes connected to this work chamber.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 1988Date of Patent: July 11, 1989Assignee: Daimler-Benz AktiengesellschaftInventors: Heinz Leiber, Reinhard Resch
