  • Patent number: 6863213
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for providing a decision support for users for selecting drilling and cutting elements for use in a construction material region, wherein areas of application of aggregate materials for concrete as a factor of the different drilling and cutting resistances of the aggregate materials in the zones are grouped in a geographical information storage medium. In this geographical information storage medium, a reference number is assigned to each of the zones, which represent a drilling and cutting resistance of a specific magnitude. The drilling and cutting elements to be used in an area of application of aggregate materials of specific drilling and cutting resistance are provided with a reference number corresponding to the reference number of the zones.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 5, 2003
Date of Patent: March 8, 2005
    Assignee: Hilti Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Martin Goedickemeier, Reinhard Schindler

  • Patent number: 6609705
Abstract: A device for the floating clamping of a workpiece to be machined. The device has a pair of clamping pistons and a pair of clamping jaws which are capable of being advanced onto mutually opposite sides of the workpiece with the aid of the two clamping pistons so as to exert a clamping force acting on the workpiece. The device is configured to contain a fixedly articulated collet chuck formed by a pair of clamping levers with clamping jaws and defining a chuck opening.

  • Patent number: 5713564
Abstract: Support device having a support shaft and a housing formed with guide surface sections form-lockingly surrounding the support shaft, the support shaft being guidable rectilinearly in a longitudinal direction thereof along the guide surface sections, includes a chucking device supported by the housing, the chucking device serving for converting a therewith engageable adjusting force into a pressing force between at least one part of the guide surface sections and the support shaft, the chucking device being formed as a force-transmitting device which increases the effect of the adjusting force.

  • Patent number: 4977888
Abstract: An apparatus for disintegrating calculi in body of a life form comprises at least one shockwave generator having a chamber filled with a liquid as a coupling agent and includes a liquid circulation system having a container with a circulating pump. The liquid circulation system has a small circulation portion for normal operation and a remainder portion which includes a container for receiving the liquid and for degassifying the liquid. The small circulation portion includes a circulating pump as well as a cooler and/or a bubble separator. The portions of the system are interconnected by lines having valves so that during the step of filling, the small portion is in communication with the container, and during a step of draining of the system, the small portion and container are drained simultaneously.
