  • Patent number: 9322290
Abstract: A propeller nozzle for watercraft, includes a nozzle and a propeller having at least one propeller blade which can rotate about a propeller axis and which spans a propeller area through rotation about the propeller axis. The propeller blade has a propeller blade end region wherein the propeller is disposed inside the nozzle in such a manner that a circumferential gap in the circumferential direction of the propeller nozzle is formed between the propeller end region and the inner wall of the nozzle. A marginal flow running from a nozzle in the area of the inner wall of the nozzle can flow through the gap, wherein the performance losses which occur due to turbulence of the marginal flow during flow around the propeller blade end region are kept as low as possible. Flow guiding apparatus guides at least one part of the marginal flow onto the propeller area.

  • Patent number: 8210564
Abstract: A vehicle interior decor element, in particular an air bag cover, comprising a front side (36) facing the vehicle interior and an opposite rear side (34), a cover (18) and a decorative element (20) which is provided at the cover (18), is visible from the front and is at least partly translucent. The decorative element (20) includes sections (24) between which the decorative element (20) has a gap (26) through which the cover (18) is accessible from the front side (36). The decorative element (20) extends with at least one portion (44) thereof towards the rear side (34) towards or into a cavity (42) which is formed in the cover (18) and in which an illuminant (50) for illuminating the decorative element (20) is accommodated.

  • Publication number: 20110130056
Abstract: The invention relates to a propeller pod (14) having a body (16) which has a shaft (18) for attachment to a vehicle (10), in particular to a watercraft, wherein the shaft (18) extends along a shaft axis (AS) and has at least one cross section (Q) with a chord (S), and (b) at least one propeller shaft (20, 24) for attachment of a propeller (22), (c) wherein the chord (S) runs at a direction angle (?) with respect to a propeller rotation axis (AP) of the propeller shaft (20, 24). The invention provides that the direction angle (?) changes, at least in places, with the distance (r) from the propeller rotation axis (AP).
