    Abstract: A blade adjusting device for a wind turbine is connected to a plant safety chain and can open and close the plant safety chain by activating a switch. If a fault is detected in one of the blade adjusting devices, the respective control unit can open the plant safety chain. By opening the safety chain, a signal is sent to the blade adjusting devices, and so all the blade adjusting devices initiate a synchronous safety operation of at least two rotor blades when the signal is received.

    Abstract: A wind turbine assembly has a hub, a rotor blade, a bearing that can be installed between the rotor blade and the hub, and an adjusting device. The rotor blade is arranged on the hub so as to be rotatable substantially its longitudinal axis. The adjusting device comprises at least one electric adjusting motor, which drives a gear connected to the rotor blade by means of a drive pinion, a converter coupled to an electric network and controlling the adjusting motor, and a control unit for the adjusting motor. The adjusting device comprises means for producing a signal that depends on the adjustment position of the rotor blade and an evaluating unit for comparing the signal or a derivative of the signal.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a transmission device for a wind turbine, having a holder, a sliding contact device having pressing means, and at least one electrode having adjustment means for transmitting lightning current. The electrode can form a spark gab having a sparking distance S together with a ring electrode, wherein the ring electrode can be arranged on the rotary device, or can be connected to a grounding device that cannot be rotated with respect to the rotary device. To improve the transmission, the holder is rotationally fixed arranged on the rotary device, or arranged in a non rotatable manner with respect to the grounding device. Furthermore, the electrode is arranged in a movable manner relative to the holder by means of a tracking device having support means. The electrode is supported by way of the supporting means relative to the rotary device or the ring electrode such that the sparking distance S can not fall below a minimum dimension.

    Abstract: A driving device for a rotor blade of a wind turbine has an asynchronous machine (6) for adjusting the rotor blade, an electrically operable brake (5) disposed at the driving unit for fixing or braking the driving unit and an electrical supplying device (2), via which the asynchronous machine is connectable with a three-phase power supply network. The supplying device comprises a rectifier (21), an inverted rectifier (23) and a direct-voltage intermediate circuit. A direct-voltage regulator (24) is provided which is connected with the intermediate circuit, via which the brake is electrically supplied. By supplying the brake by the intermediate circuit, an additional voltage source for the brake can be spared and the brake can be implemented extremely simply.
