    Abstract: A locking system includes an actuator which serves to control the engine and which can be moved between a home position associated with the parked state of the vehicle and at least one working position associated with the state in which the vehicle is being driven. An actuator blocking element normally secures the home position of the actuator. A locking bar of an anti-theft device of the vehicle, however, also belongs to the locking system. This locking bar can be changed between a release position and a locking position and is secured in its release position by a locking bar blocking element. A connection is provided between the actuator blocking element and the locking bar blocking element. This connection ensures that, when the locking bar blocking element is active, the actuator blocking element is inactive and, conversely, when the locking bar blocking element is inactive the actuator blocking element is active.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for starting a motor vehicle motor. According to the invention, a slot is (11) used for inserting (59) the key (50) which is usually closed by a spring-loaded cover (14). The key (50) is displaced in the slot (11) into various key positions (20.1), in order to control different functions of the motor or other ancillary devices in the vehicle. In order to ensure a compact construction which is easy to use, the inventive device prevents the key (50) from turning in the slot (11) and the key (50) is displaced into at least three operating positions (20.1) for the control functions which are axially staggered. After being inserted for a first operating distance (51), the key takes up an initial position (20.1), in which it is secured in the slot (11) in a force-fit. In a subsequent second intermediate position, the key (50) is secured in a positive fit which can be locked automatically. This prevents the manual withdrawal (57) of the key (50).

    Abstract: A closing device includes a cylinder core with followers and a closing cylinder with a freewheel sleeve and a housing accommodating the sleeve. Normally, a coupling slider is coupled to the cylinder core by a restoring force, but is decoupled therefrom in the event of overcharge. An axial connection is provided between the coupling slider and a locking and controlling member. The slider and the locking and controlling member can be radially moved, however, can be rotated between various rotational positions of the closing cylinder when the cylinder core is actuated using a key. The closing cylinder has two key removal positions. The coupling slider is displaced in the angle thereof by turning the key between at least two rotational positions which correspond to the key removal positions. The coupling slider can be radially displaced in the direction of the rotational positions. At least one locking and controlling member is allocated to each of the rotational positions.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an access system in which an access authorization that can be disposed of outside of the vehicle communicates with identification means located inside the vehicle. If the identification means respond, control means which operate a door lock (40) from a door handle (10) are transferred out of their inoperative position into an operative position. To this end, the door handle (10) can move between three different positions (10.1, 10.2). In the first position, the door handle (10) is located in a retracted position (10.1), which cannot be grasped by the human hand, but rather is streamlined. Only when the door handle (10) is in a protruding extended position (10.2) is the latter possible. The door handle is then manually displaced into a third protracted position in which the door lock (40) is opened. According to the invention, this mode of operation is ensured by an actuator (30) configured, for example, as an eccentric.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a closing cylinder comprised of a cylinder core (10) which is rotationally accommodated in a cylinder housing (20), and which has a profiled axial boring (11). An axially parallel roll body (25) is arranged in said closing cylinder and is always guided with a partial cross-section (26) in a radial opening (14) of the cylinder core. According to whether an initial position of rotation or a key rotation exists, the blocking element (25) either runs into an inner groove (24) of the cylinder housing (20) or into a marginal recess (34) of a group of rotating discs (30) which are arranged in a profiled axial boring (11) of the cylinder core (10). In order to increase the useful life of the closing cylinder, the invention provides that a spring element (50; 28, 50′) is arranged at least between one of the rotating discs (30) and the cylinder core (10).

    Abstract: The inventive device comprises a seat which is situated in the device housing and which is provided for the insertion of an identification provider. A holding element located inside the seat engages with a lateral indentation of the identification provider. The opening of the seat is normally closed by a spring-loaded cover element. In order to create a functionally reliable and economic design, the invention provides that the cover element is configured as a pivotal flap which can pivot from the identification provider out of an outwardly pivoted position covering the opening of the seat and into an inwardly pivoted position inside the seat. A projection is provided on the outer side of the flap and functions as a holding element for the identification provider. A recess is arranged next to the seat for the inward pivotal movement of the flap.

    Abstract: A closing device has a key-operable closing cylinder which is simultaneously a component of a pusher and serves as a hand-operated thrusting device for operating locking elements. A central locking system can be used to actuate a lever with a drive. Malfunctions result when the central locking lever, moved to a secured position by the drive of the central locking system, blocks the components in the closing cylinder such that the key cannot be inserted into the closing cylinder when a pushing arm which is rotated by the closing cylinder is in an inactive position and blocked. This is avoided by using coupling elements which are provided between the supporting points of the lever allocated to the central locking system and also between the supporting points of the pushing arm. In accordance with the rotated position of the key in the closing cylinder, the coupling elements change between coupling and uncoupling positions. The lever is uncoupled when the pushing arm is in the inactive position.

    Abstract: The invention is directed to a locking device with a locking cylinder which is formed of a cylinder guide and a cylinder core which is rotatably supported therein. When the key is withdrawn, the cylinder core is locked with the cylinder guide via spring-loaded tumblers. The cylinder guide is rotatably supported in the housing, but is fixed with respect to rotation therein via a catch when the key is rotated. When the key is inserted, the rotation of the cylinder core is transmitted, via a radially spring-loaded and radially displaceable radial slide, to a driver performing the locking functions in the lock. The catch has a push-rod by means of which the spring-loaded radial slide can be controlled so that the transmission of torque to the driver is interrupted when the locking cylinder is forcibly rotated.

    Abstract: A cylinder lock for use in motor vehicles and elsewhere has a case for a rotatable and axially movable sleeve-like guide which receives a rotatable cylinder having a keyhole and being locked to the guide by tumblers when the key is withdrawn. A detent is installed between the case and the guide to normally prevent rotation of the guide except when the guide is acted upon by a large force which causes it to deactivate the detent as a result of certain axial movement of the guide and cylinder in the case. A clutch between the cylinder and a motion transmitting element for a bolt of the lock is engaged as long as the detent is operative but is disengaged not later than when the detent permits the guide to turn in the case.
