  • Publication number: 20200086893
Abstract: A pivoting/sliding door for vehicles comprising a door leaf with a support mechanism, a stationary rotatable spindle, and a spindle nut which is connected to the door leaf via a connection element and comprising a stationary guiding rail which has a curved section for a guide element fixed to the door. The curved section is followed by a section which runs perpendicularly to the spindle axis, the connection element is connected to the spindle nut and to a console which is fixed to the door leaf in a pivotal manner about axes, and the door leaf has a closed final position upon reaching the guide element of the transition point between the curved section and the perpendicular section in the longitudinal direction but is preferably still spaced from the closed final position in an adjustment direction.

  • Patent number: 8517433
Abstract: The invention relates to a locking device for sliding doors, or for swinging-sliding doors of vehicles, particularly of rail vehicles, by which a locking pin connected to a door leaf is fixed in the closed position thereof. The device is characterized in that in the closed position of the locking pin the same is fixed in this position by a latch, a guide bar connected to the latch and having a notch assumes a position in which a locking element of a locking lever projects into the notch, thus fixing the position of the guide bar and the locking lever in turn is held in the closed position by a toggle lever mechanism that is located in the beyond dead point position.

  • Patent number: 8122644
Abstract: A pivotable, sliding door is provided that includes a door leaf and a first roller lever disposed adjacent to a lateral closing edge of the door leaf. The first roller lever defines first and second ends. A guide rail is disposed on the door leaf. A roller is disposed on the first end of the first roller lever and in the guide rail. A locking element is disposed on the second end of the first roller lever. A retaining element, affixable to a door frame, is disposed adjacent to the second end of the first roller lever, the retaining element defining a stop and a predetermined, curved track. The first roller lever is displaceable along the predetermined, curved track to the stop. In the stop position, the first roller lever is pivotable into a locked position where the locking element engages the retaining element.

  • Patent number: 7549251
Abstract: A pivoting sliding door for vehicles, particularly rail vehicles or lift cabins. The pivoting sliding door includes a vehicle body, at least one door wing which, in a closed position is arranged within the vehicle body and which, in an opened position is arranged in front of and on an exterior side of the vehicle body. Further included is at least one driving device, at least two transverse guiding devices and at least one longitudinal guiding device to permit a transverse movement of the at least one door wing to and along the vehicle body. The at least one longitudinal guiding device is moved by the at least two transverse guiding devices, and the at least one door wing is locked by a pivoting part that engages in one of the at least two transverse guiding devices.

  • Publication number: 20060225356
Abstract: The invention relates to a pivoting sliding door for vehicles, comprising a door wing (3), drive devices (2), transversal guiding devices (4, 5), and longitudinal guiding devices (7), which enable the at least one door wing (3) to move transversal to the vehicle wall and along the vehicle wall. The longitudinal guiding devices move in a transverse direction by means of the transversal guiding devices. When closed, the door is locked by a pivot part (10), which engages inside a guide (12) whereby preventing the door from being unintentionally opened. The invention is characterized in that the pivot part (10) has a guide part (11) that interacts with a guide (12) and that the guide, in the area in which the pivot part (10) interacts with the guide when the door is closed, has a circular arc section (12b) around the actual position of the rotation axis (9) of the pivot part (10).
