  • Publication number: 20090256347
Abstract: The present invention makes available a paper product with a silicone oil-repellent, activatable adhesive coating that can be printed with a laser printer, with the adhesive coating serving to seal a single sheet to itself or neighboring sheets of paper products to one another, and with the silicone-oil repellency being obtained by means of a material selected from the group of fluoroalkyl sodium sulfate(s), fluoroalkyl polyoxyethylene polymer(s), polyvinyl alcohol(s) and mixtures thereof.

  • Publication number: 20060183001
Abstract: The invention relates to a data support for application of data to be kept secret, including a support layer (1) on which the data to be kept secret is to be printed and a cover layer (2), at least partly covering the support layer (1), for covering the printed data. According to the invention, the data security for such a data support may be improved, whereby the support layer (1) or the cover layer (2) is made from a porous sheet material. The invention further relates to a method for application of data to be kept secret on such a data support.

  • Patent number: 5736230
Abstract: In order to improve the printing capability with high-performance laser printers and the subsequent processing of a single-layered paper article, in particular, a single-sheet mailer having an adhesive coating adapted to be activated for adhering a single layer with itself or with further layers, it is suggested that a component is added to the adhesive coating which can absorb the separating agents used during laser printing and can remove them from the paper surface. According to the invention, additives of oleophilic bentonite and/or polyvinyl alkylether and/or polyethylene glycol are suggested.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 15, 1996
Date of Patent: April 7, 1998

  • Patent number: 5153168
Abstract: In order, in a self-duplicating paper product, to block certain areas in their duplicating function, it is suggested that these particular areas of at least one paper surface bearing one of the two reaction components be coated with a barrier layer not permeable to the reaction components, whereby the barrier layer material leaves the reactivity of the reaction components as such essentially unaffected.
