  • Publication number: 20100287695
Abstract: The present invention includes a hands free faucet system and a valve configured for delivery of water in a predetermined temperature and volume. The valve can include a first body portion having a first inlet port and a first outlet port connected to the first water line, a second body portion connected to the first body portion and having a second inlet port, a second outlet port, a third inlet port third outlet port. The valve can also include at least a first selectively positionable gate defining a first opening and a second opening and disposed adjacent to the second outlet port and the third outlet port such that in response to the first selectively positionable gate being positioned in a first position, water of a predetermined temperature will flow from at least one of the second outlet port and the third outlet port.

  • Publication number: 20100288383
Abstract: A faucet control system and valve is described herein. The valve can include a cylinder-type valve that is configured to control the temperature and flow rate of water to the faucet. The valve of the preferred embodiment can include a body defining a first cavity along a longitudinal axis; a first inlet port disposed in the body intersecting the first cavity; a first outlet port disposed in the body and intersecting the first cavity; and a rod selectively positionable within the first cavity of the body and defining a second cavity therein. The rod can include a first rod port intersecting the second cavity and a second rod port intersecting the second cavity such that in response to the rod being selectively positioned in a first position one of the first or second rod ports is substantially contiguous with one of the first inlet port or first outlet port.

  • Publication number: 20070148346
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include a deposition machine that allows for continuous deposition of an object or substrate with a coating having a graded composition. The deposition machine includes a deposition chamber separated into a plurality of chamber areas by a baffle having an opening. The opening allows for migration of deposition material from one chamber area to another, allowing for a graded composition coating to be deposited on the object or substrate. Other embodiments include a system for forming an electronic device and a system and method for forming a graded composition on an object.

  • Publication number: 20060291618
Abstract: A tomosynthesis system for forming a three dimensional image of an object is provided. The system includes an X-ray source adapted to irradiate the object with a beam of X-rays from a plurality of positions in a sector, an X-ray detector positioned relative to the X-ray source to detect X-rays transmitted through the object and a processor which is adapted to generate a three dimensional image of the object based on X-rays detected by the detector. The detector is adapted to move relative to the object and/or the X-ray source is adapted to irradiate the object with the beam of X-rays such that the beam of X-rays follows in a non arc shaped path and/or a center of the beam of X-rays impinges substantially on the same location on the detector from different X-ray source positions in the sector.
