  • Publication number: 20220107514
Abstract: A contact lens for application to a human eyeball capable of emitting ultrasonic pressure waves from a plurality of piezoelectric transducers to mitigate the effects of airborne eye irritants and infectious microorganisms. The piezoelectric transducers converts mechanical energy applied upon the contact lens from the eyelid as the eyelid blinks and/or winks into electrical energy to be used for emitting ultrasonic pressure waves from the piezoelectric transducers. The ultrasonic pressure waves destroy airborne microorganisms near the contact lens. A photodiode onboard the contact lens indicates when the eyelid is not closed in order to limit or prevent emission of ultrasonic pressure waves from the piezoelectric transducers while the eyelid is closed. An antenna onboard the contact lens receives information from augmented reality glasses or other computing devices.

  • Publication number: 20220100263
Abstract: Techniques for leveraging augmented reality devices to provide enhanced observation and control of automation devices performing automation functions. Augmented reality devices receive information from local sensors concerning the performance of local automation devices. This information is used to generate graphical representations of said performance upon the physical environment where the automation devices perform their respective automation tasks as viewed from the perspective of a user wearing the augmented reality devices. The graphical representations provide an intuitive interface for observing the performance of automation tasks and automation capabilities within a physical environment. In some embodiments, gesture-based input is received by the augmented reality devices to interact with the graphical representation to modify the performance of the automation devices performing automation tasks.

  • Publication number: 20220004591
Abstract: A method comprises displaying a plurality of items to a user on a first page on a display screen of an electronic device. Each item of the plurality of items displayed on the first page is classified according to whether an item is of interest to the user viewing the display screen. A correlation factor between the user and each item classified as of interest to the user is determined. The method also includes, for at least the first one of the plurality of items determined to have a correlation factor above a predetermined threshold, identifying detailed information about a first one of the plurality of items. The identified detailed information about a first one of the plurality of items is automatically displayed. The identified detailed information is displayed without receiving an input indicating a selection of a first one of the plurality of items from a hand-operated input device.

  • Patent number: 11106915
Abstract: Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for generating in a gaze tracking device augmented reality representations for objects in a user line-of-sight. A determination is made of user coordinates of a user position and coordinates of an axis of a line-of-sight of the user from the gaze tracking device. Requested object information is received indicating objects along the axis of the line-of-sight at different distances from the user position, including a first object in the line-of-sight that is visible to the user at a first distance from the user position and at least one additional object. Each of the at least one additional object is at a further distance from the user position than the first distance. Descriptions of the objects are rendered to the user in a view of the gaze tracking device along the axis of the line-of-sight.

  • Publication number: 20210264908
Abstract: An approach is provided in which the approach captures a voice command spoken by a user along with a set of data generated from a smart contact lens worn by the user. The approach matches the set of data to a command augmentation indicator that identifies an augmentation to the voice command. The approach aggregates the command augmentation indicator with the voice command into an aggregated command and executes the aggregated command accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11057673
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses and computer program products leveraging an internet of things network integrated into a surrounding environment to detect a presence of users within engagement zones surrounding content displayed in a physical location. One or more IoT devices equipped with sensors, audio systems, video systems and/or user input capabilities record interactions with the displayed content, and capture behavioral cues indicating an expressed interest in the content by users. Digital versions of the displayed content are delivered to one or more devices associated with the user. Additional content associated with the displayed content or similar content having one or more of the same distinguishing characteristics may be aggregated with the digital versions of the displayed content and delivered to the user. Aggregated content delivery can be delayed until users are in a safe, suitable location to review the aggregated content being delivered.
