Patent number: 11481940Abstract: Structural modifications to a person's face in a reference image are captured and automatically applied to the person's face in another image. The reference image is processed to compute landmark information on the person's face and apply a mesh to the reference image. When structural modifications are made to the person's face in the reference image, the mesh is modified, and the modified mesh is stored in association with the landmark information. Another image is analyzed to compute landmark information on the person's face in that image and apply a mesh to the image. A transformation matrix is computed using the landmark information from the reference image and current image, and the modified mesh from the reference image is transformed using the transformation matrix. The mesh in the current image is modified using the transformed mesh, thereby applying the structural modification to the person's face in the current image.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2019Date of Patent: October 25, 2022Assignee: ADOBE INC.Inventors: Rekha Agarwal, Sunil Rawat, Rishu Aggarwal, Ajay Bedi

Patent number: 10388121Abstract: A method for providing notifications is provided. The method includes a tangible user interface (TUI) element the receives an input from a computing device coupled to the TUI element. The input is indicative of an outcome corresponding to a functionality of an application on the computing device. Based on the outcome, the TUI element determines at least one illumination pattern from a plurality of pre-stored illumination patterns. Thereafter, the TUI element generates an output based on the at least one determined illumination pattern.Type: GrantFiled: September 1, 2016Date of Patent: August 20, 2019Assignee: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.Inventors: Ayushi Gupta, Prantik Banerjee, Theophilus Thomas, Kyoungwoon Hahm, Arun Prabhakar, Govind Janardhanan, Dhananjay L Govekar, Sudhanwa Suhas Chavan, Navneet Passi, Abhishek Kumar, Avinash Thakur, Nitin Setia, Suprateem Bhattacherjee, Sankara Narayanan T, Himanshu Jakhmola, Sonam Chawla, Rekha Agarwal, Atul Sharma, Aashaank Pratap, Shantanu Kumar Meher, Arungeeth PS, Amit Bansal, Kaushal Prakash Sharma, Jatin Jain

Patent number: 9953220Abstract: Cutout object merge techniques are described. In one or more embodiments, a cutout object is identified for insertion into a scene. The cutout object may, for instance, be selected from a library of cutout objects, each of which was extracted from an already-captured image. Before capturing an image of the scene, the selected cutout object may be placed in a substantially real-time display of the scene, such as that which is displayed via a camera's view finder. Using an image capturing device, an image of the scene may then be captured. Once an image of the scene is captured, the cutout object and the captured image may be merged to form a composite image that includes the cutout object at a location in the scene specified by the placement.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 2014Date of Patent: April 24, 2018Assignee: Adobe Systems IncorporatedInventors: Rekha Agarwal, Amit Mittal, Naveen Prakash Goel, Ritesh Agarwal

Publication number: 20150242391Abstract: This document describes techniques for contextualization and enhancement of textual content. In one or more implementations, textual content is analyzed to determine whether the textual content is appropriate for an intended context. The intended context corresponds to an intended mood, emotion, tone, or sentiment of the textual content. If it is determined that the textual content does not conform to the intended context, suggestions are generated to modify the textual content to conform to the intended context.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2014Publication date: August 27, 2015Inventors: Naveen Prakash Goel, Walter W.
