Date of Patent: January 19, 1988
    Assignee: Chrysler Motors Corporation
    Inventor: Remie P. Durand
  • Patent number: 4630880
Abstract: A tab protruding from a primary electrical contact means in a snap-in terminal for urging contact with misaligned filament wires of a wedge-base bulb.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 3, 1985
Date of Patent: December 23, 1986
    Assignee: Chrysler Motors Corporation
    Inventor: Remie P. Durand
  • Patent number: 4624524
Abstract: A twisted tang formed by notching the base of a snap-in terminal, the tang directed toward the interior of the terminal to urge contact with misaligned filament wires of a wedge base bulb.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 3, 1985
Date of Patent: November 25, 1986
    Assignee: Chrysler Motors Corporation
    Inventor: Remie P. Durand
  • Patent number: 4624523
Abstract: A secondary electrical contact means in a snap-in terminal, cantilevered from the terminal such that contact is urged with misaligned filament wires of a wedge base bulb.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 3, 1985
Date of Patent: November 25, 1986
    Assignee: Chrysler Motors Corporation

  • Patent number: 4607901
Abstract: A wall means to prevent the flow of mold vinyl fill from entering the interior of a snap-in terminal during the socket molding process.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 3, 1985
Date of Patent: August 26, 1986
    Assignee: Chrysler Corporation
    Inventor: Remie P. Durand
  • Patent number: 4592615
Abstract: An extension of a primary electrical contact member, in a snap-in terminal, folded over the primary contact member for urging contact with misaligned filament wires of a wedge-base bulb.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 3, 1985
Date of Patent: June 3, 1986
    Assignee: Chrysler Corporation
    Inventor: Remie P. Durand
  • Patent number: 3936131
Abstract: A snap-in socket for wedge base lamps that avoids the requirement of a quarter turn twist for locking the socket in the panel. Contact members are adaptable to be inserted from either end of the socket. One modification of the contact member utilizes a snap-on hood for providing one electrical return path through a chassis thereby requiring only a single wire to the socket. The contact members further feature wire guide means thereon which function to straighten any bent filament wires on the lamp bulb when the bulb is inserted into the socket assembly.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 25, 1974
Date of Patent: February 3, 1976
    Assignee: Chrysler Corporation
    Inventor: Remie P. Durand
