The invention also relates to a kit with a plurality of tooth veneer elements for veneering tooth surfaces, wherein the tooth veneer elements especially have different shapes and/or sizes and/or colours and/or degrees of translucency. The invention further relates to a method for applying such a tooth veneer element (1) to a tooth, wherein the tooth veneer element (1) is applied to the tooth in such a way that a facial surface of a tooth crown (5.2) of the tooth (5.1) is only partially covered, wherein in particular a facial cervical surface (6) of the tooth (5.1) is covered substantially completely.
