    Abstract: An object is to provide a honeybee repellent for the prevention, in the use of pesticides applied on agricultural crops as well as controlling agents for exterminating carnivorous bees such as hornets and paper wasps, of damage inflicted on honeybees, the extermination of which is not intended by these agents. As a solution, a honeybee repellent is provided whose active ingredient comprises one or more types selected from tetradecane, furfuryl alcohol, cinnamyl alcohol, cinnamaldehyde, 3-methyl-2-butenal, methyl cinnamate, geranyl formate, allyl cyclohexanepropionate, isoquinoline, borneol, carvacrol, ?-dodecalactone, ß-ionone, quinoline, butylamine, and citronella oil.
