  • Patent number: 11693815
Abstract: A system for data transmission between two devices, including an output device having a binary output interface and a first field device having a binary input interface connected in a signal-transmitting manner to the binary output interface via a unidirectional connection. The output device includes a signal processing module which is set up to convert a data set to be transmitted to a binary, discrete-time signal in accordance with a serial protocol. The first field device includes a signal processing module which is set up to convert the received binary, discrete-time signal to the data set in accordance with the serial protocol. The invention further relates to a valve system.

  • Publication number: 20210396330
Abstract: A method for an operation-safe replacement of a control head is provided. The control head is configured to actuate a movement of a target and defines at least a first operating position according to which the target is arranged prior to exchanging the control head for a replacement control head. After exchange, the replacement control head receives configuration data and parameters of the exchanged control head. The replacement control head defines at least a second operating position. The second operating position of the replacement control head generally corresponds to the first operating position defined by the exchanged control head. A position sensing system is provided to sense a position of the target after the exchange procedure. An indicator unit is used to provide a state indicator, wherein the state indicator at least depends on a difference between the position of the target and the second operating position defined by the replacement control head.

  • Patent number: 8813778
Abstract: A valve control system includes a valve control device and a hand-held actuating apparatus for triggering operating actions within the valve control device. The hand-held actuating apparatus includes a magnet arrangement and the valve control device includes a magnetic field sensor arrangement adapted to the magnet arrangement of the hand-held actuating apparatus. The magnet arrangement includes one or more magnets and an actuating means. The magnetic fields of the magnets are individually variable by the actuating means without movement of the hand-held actuating apparatus relative to the magnetic field sensor arrangement.

  • Patent number: 8707780
Abstract: The device for metering fluid mixtures, in particular liquids containing a gas such as carbon dioxide, includes a flow sensor, a metering valve, and a controller that drives the metering valve as a function of a set point and of the flow rate measured. The flow sensor has an impeller wheel having a horizontal axis, the fluid mixture being guided on an arcuate path on the periphery of the impeller wheel, the path being directed from bottom to top. Despite the presence of gas, a precise metering is achieved.
