Abstract: A frame for a sports article, especially a frame for a roller skate, including a front upper portion provided to receive the front portion of a boot, and a rear upper portion provided to receive the rear portion of a boot. The front upper portion and the rear upper portion are part of the same planar upper surface. The frame further includes two cylindrical holes provided to receive two fixing elements, the holes extending in the longitudinal plane of the frame and their respective axes being spaced from one another by a value E of between about 164 mm and 170 mm, more particularly equal to about 167 mm. Moreover, a substantially cylindrical cavity centered on the axis of the cylindrical hole is provided in the upper surface. The invention is also directed to a line of boots for a roller skate and to a line of frames therefor.

Abstract: A support and wear element for an in-line roller skate frame, adapted to be inserted between two lateral flanks of the frame and between two middle adjacent wheels, for practicing a so-called "aggressive" skating and, more specifically, for ensuring the transverse sliding of the skate on a longiline element, wherein the element has an arrangement for attachment on the frame which is constituted by vertical slide bars, facing each other on both sides of the internal surfaces of the flanks and cooperating with corresponding grooves obtained on the two lateral opposing surfaces of the support and wear element, such that its sliding mounting onto the flanks simultaneously ensures, on the one hand, its attachment and, on the other hand, the linkage of the flanks of the frame to one another in the transverse direction without secondary means, to constitute a single and coherent assembly with the frame.

Abstract: A sports boot of the type that includes a rigid frame constituted by at least one heel reinforcement and a rigid collar for the retention of the lower part of the leg connected to the heel reinforcement for forward and rearward angular movement, the angular movement of the collar being unimpeded at least forwardly when the sport is practiced. The transverse inclination device is associated to at least one portion of the collar, and an elastic return structure is associated to the transverse inclination device for a return into the neutral position.

Abstract: Chassis for roller skates, especially in-line roller skates, of the type constituted of two lateral flanges bearing the wheels and by an upper platform connecting the two flanges. The chassis includes at least one central portion constituted by a detachable wear plate on at least one of the lateral flanges, the detachable plate extending between two wheels, from the lower edge of the flange, and wherein the chassis comprises a scalloping at the level of each detachable part. The detachable wear plates allow various types of skating styles to be accommodated while limiting the wear and tear of the chassis.

Abstract: Guide/blocking device for a lace of a boot, and a boot incorporating same. The guide/blocking device includes a sliding part defining a passageway for a lace oriented along a direction corresponding substantially to the direction of traction of the lace. The guide/blocking device includes a blocking part arranged in continuity with the sliding part and oriented in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of traction and corresponding to the blocking direction. Advantageously, the median plane of the sliding part and the blocking part is substantially co-planar with the plane of lacing, and the blocking section includes teeth that are inclined along a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the blocking direction.

Abstract: A sport boot, especially adapted to an in-line roller skate and having an external sole overlaid by an upper including two quarters demarcating an opening which are adapted to be connected to one another by a tightening lace, along a path determined as a function of the position of return elements or guides arranged on both sides of the quarters, wherein each of the return elements or guides is constituted of a base having a flat bottom adapted to be fixed on the edge of one of the quarters of the boot, having a sliding plane, at its substantially horizontal and constant upper portion, beneath which an element is provided for passage of the lace, so as to protect the lace from any external attack.

Abstract: The invention relates a sport shoe having a shell base topped by an upper that is pivotal/flexible with respect to the shell base via a flexion control arrangement. The flexion control arrangement includes a viscous element interposed between mobile portions which overlap and displace relatively with respect to each other when the upper pivots, forming a flexion control by viscous friction. The viscous element procures a silent and constant braking between the mobile portions.

Abstract: The invention is related to an alpine ski boot having a rigid shell whose base has an external sole on which a shell base is mounted, which shell base is overlaid by an upper having a rear portion and a front portion. The shell includes an internal sole on its bottom and also receives an internal cushioning including a flexible and comfortable liner, interposed between the foot and the lower part of the leg of the skier and the rigid shell. The rigid internal reinforcement has an asymmetrical transverse section and is of an overall squared shape.

Abstract: Rear entry alpine ski boots whose rear spoiler is latchable on the shell base. The rear spoiler includes two segments, one lower and one upper, that overlap and are journalled to each other in a zone corresponding to the journal of the ankle. Only the lower segment is journalled and latchable on the shell base and includes a vertical extension, with which a corresponding portion of the upper segment cooperates in rear-to-front flexion, in order to ensure the control of the flexion forces of the upper towards the front.

Abstract: Alpine ski boot comprising an outer shell, in which an inner slipper is placed, the shell being constituted by a shell base incorporating at least one rear cover which pivots on the shell base around a transverse axis to a pivoted open position and vice-versa, while the inner slipper comprises a rear tongue extending upward. The upper part of the rear tongue is held attached to the upper part of the rear cover by at least one connecting slide device.
