  • Patent number: 6398575
Abstract: A part of an electrical connector including, a body, at least one elastic arm which has at least one locking hook attached to the body and extending laterally to the body, the elastic arm being flexible from a locking position wherein the arm is unstressed and close to the body to an unlocking position wherein the arm is stressed and bent away from the body, a slide comprising a window through which passes the elastic arm carrying the hook and wherein the slide slides on the body of the connector between a locking position and an unlocking position and a ramp provided between the slide and the elastic arm so that as the slide moves from the locking position to the unlocking position, the slide acts on the elastic arm to bend the arm and the hook away from the body in the unlocking position.

  • Patent number: 5447477
Abstract: An electric gear motor with reduction gears and automatic brake for shutters, wherein an emergency control is provided to allow the shutter to be manually maneuvered in the event of motor brake down or loss of power. A toothed ring is normally retained in a non-rotatable position relative to the reduction gears under the influence of a yieldable leg of a spring pin. The yieldable leg is movable away from the ring to permit the ring to rotate with the reduction gears and free of a motor drive shaft in the event the motor fails to activate in a normal manner thus enabling the shutters to be manually operated.

  • Patent number: 5048245
Abstract: A double-glazing insulation panel having a pair of panes which define an intermediate space in which is mounted a drum for use in vertically adjusting a screen and which the drive mechanism for the drum is removably mounted through an opening in the frame of the panel and supported relative thereto by a stopper assembly which is used to seal the opening through the frame.

  • Patent number: 5044417
Abstract: Roller assemblies having a drum upon which a closure is wound and unwound and wherein a drive mechanism within the drum is meshed with a plurality of elongated ribs extending along the inner surface of the drum and wherein the limiting controls for the drive mechanism include a pair of travelling nuts which are also meshed with the ribs of the drum for mechanically actuating the limiting controls.

  • Patent number: 4850418
Abstract: A device for automatically releasing the braking mechanism of roller blinds or shutters or the like which are selectively operated by a motor drivingly connected to the drum of the blind wherein a drive shaft for the drum is prevented from rotating by gripping a brake disk between two rotating plates. Releasing of the brake is automatically effected as soon as the motor is activated by magnetic attraction of a yoke, which includes one of the rotating plates, against a spring element. In the event of an electrical failure, the brake may be released manually by mechanically urging the yoke from the brake disk against the action of the spring element.

  • Patent number: 4848433
Abstract: A two-speed reducing mechanism for controlling the adjustment of a closure such as a blind having adjustable slats which includes a drive input shaft or wheel which is meshed with a planetary ger system supported by an output drive ring which itself is oriented within a rotatable bushing which may be selectively secured from rotation by a braking device. The planetary gear assembly is also meshed with the bushing so that when the bushing is rotatable, the closure member may be quickly adjusted in a one-to-one drive relationship with respect to the input shaft, however, when the bushing is prevented from rotating, the elements of the planetary gear assembly will rotate upon themselves causing a speed reduction.
