  • Publication number: 20230391567
Abstract: A document sheet conveying device includes a sheet feed tray lift mechanism, a top plate portion, a fixed wall portion, and a lifted wall portion. The sheet feed tray lift mechanism lifts up and down a sheet feed tray. The top plate portion is adjacent to the sheet feed tray at a downstream side, in a sheet feed direction, of the sheet feed tray, and is contacted by a lower surface of a document sheet having been fed. The fixed wall portion is provided to extend downward from an upstream end, in the sheet feed direction, of the top plate portion, and the position of the fixed wall portion is fixed. The lifted wall portion extends upward from a downstream end of the sheet feed tray in the sheet feed direction and is lifted up and down along the fixed wall portion together with the sheet feed tray.

  • Publication number: 20230382674
Abstract: The document sheet conveying device includes a second discharge tray, and a switching portion. The second discharge tray rotates between a use posture which allows loading of a document sheet on the second discharge tray and a storage posture in which the second discharge tray serves as a part of the conveyance housing. The switching portion connects a first conveying path formed from a supply tray to a branch point inside the conveyance housing to one of a second conveying path formed from the branch point to a first discharge tray and a third conveying path formed from the branch point to the second discharge tray. The switching portion connects the first conveying path to the third conveying path when the posture of the second discharge tray has been changed to the use posture in a state where the first conveying path is connected to the second conveying path.

  • Publication number: 20230382676
Abstract: A document sheet conveying device includes a slide cover. The slide cover is provided slidably between an open position for exposing the supply tray and the discharge tray and a closing position for covering the supply tray and the discharge tray. In addition, the slide cover includes a cover main body and a side cover. The cover main body is formed by connecting at least a top plate covering the supply tray and a front plate covering a front side of the discharge space when the slide cover is disposed at the closing position. The side cover is rotatably connected to a top surface side of the cover main body, covers one of right and left sides of the discharge space when the slide cover is disposed at the closing position.

  • Publication number: 20230322517
Abstract: A document sheet conveying device includes a guide portion, a swinging shaft, a sheet member, and a biasing member. The guide portion guides a document sheet to the discharge tray. The swinging shaft is provided at an upstream end of the guide portion in a conveyance direction of the document sheet and swingably supports the guide portion with a width direction of the document sheet as an axis direction. One end of the sheet member is fixed to an upstream end of the discharge tray in the conveyance direction, and the other end is supported by the guide portion. As the guide portion is lifted up, the sheet member is drawn out from a part of the guide portion lower than the discharge outlet. The biasing member biases in a direction in which the sheet member is drawn into the guide portion.

  • Patent number: 11613442
Abstract: A sheet discharge device includes a sheet discharge portion, a sheet loading portion, and a stopper mechanism. The stopper mechanism includes a first stopper supported pivotably to a first retraction position and a first restriction position, a second stopper that is movable to a first position at which the second stopper is housed along a downstream end part of the sheet loading portion and a second position apart from the first position to a downstream side in a sheet discharge direction and is supported pivotably to a second retraction position and a second restriction position, and a link mechanism connecting the first stopper to the second stopper. When the second stopper is disposed at the first position, the first stopper is disposed at the first restriction position, and when the second stopper is disposed at the second position, the first stopper is disposed at the first retraction position.
