  • Patent number: 8151952
Abstract: The invention relates to a proportional control valve for the variable hydraulic adjustment of the damping force of a shock absorber, for which purpose the proportional control valve has a throttle function which can be set by varying the strength I of the electric current. The invention provides that on the basis of an instantaneous level of the electrical current Iist the proportional control valve is first closed by increasing the current to a maximum current strength Imax for a short time period toverdrive in order to change the damping force F, and the proportional control valve is then opened again by reducing the current strength I to a defined average current strength I in which the proportional valve assumes an intermediate position which results in a volume flow Q which corresponds to the desired change in the damping force F.

  • Patent number: 7648350
Abstract: A conveying device for a vehicle brake system, to convey pressure fluids into at least one vehicle brake, or to convey pressure fluids into a pressure fluid accumulator, or to convey pressure fluids into a master brake cylinder with at least one moveable piston (2) in a receptacle (4) to displace pressure fluids from a working chamber (5?), has at least one non-return valve (9, 9?) to vent the working chamber (5) and to temporarily separate a hydraulic connection between the working chamber (5) and a hydraulic channel, whereby the non-return valve (9) must have at least one valve seat (11) and one valve body (12). To achieve the simplest possible assembly of the non-return valve (9), the valve seat (11) is assembled from several special valve seat segments (13,14).

  • Publication number: 20090250998
Abstract: Disclosed are hydraulic/electronic control units (1, 2) for an electronic brake control system. A hydraulic/electronic control unit of current ABS/TCS/ESP systems essentially includes a central hydraulic block (6) and an electronic control unit (1) including control electronics on a control circuit board (4). The circuit board (4) is structured in such a way that it is insulated completely towards the outside on at least one first side (28) and includes an essentially smooth surface. Thus it is possible to use the hydraulic block (6) for cooling the circuit board (4).

  • Patent number: 7347509
Abstract: A diaphragm-type accumulator for a slip-controlled vehicle brake system has a media-separating element in a housing bore including a diaphragm made of an elastic material, which has a concave design with respect to a pressure fluid inlet for the purpose of pressure fluid intake. The diaphragm is acted upon indirectly by an accumulator spring, with a diaphragm plate interposed, and wherein the diaphragm plate has a concave design with respect to the pressure fluid inlet.

  • Patent number: 6644354
Abstract: The present invention discloses a hydraulic fluid accumulator comprising a housing having an interior subdivided into three chambers, with the first chamber being filled with a gas and separated from the second chamber by a first media separation element, the second chamber being filled with a fluid and separated by a second media separation element from the third chamber that is also filled with a fluid and connected to a hydraulic port. To safeguard an effective separation of media within the hydraulic fluid accumulator and, thus, a significant increase in its functional safety, the present invention arranges for the second media separation element to be embodied by a metal piston delimiting a chamber that can be vented in the housing.
