  • Publication number: 20160027598
Abstract: A temperature-dependent switch having a housing that comprises a cover part with an upper side as well as a lower part with an inner circumferential shoulder and a circumferential wall above the shoulder, which wall comprises an inner side above the shoulder, has a temperature-dependent switching mechanism arranged in said housing. An insulating film is arranged between the lower part and cover part, which insulating film extends with its peripheral region onto the upper side of the cover part. The wall of the lower part is bent onto the upper side and thus holds the cover part on the peripheral shoulder with the insulating film interposed. Said temperature-dependent switching mechanism, depending on its temperature, produces or opens an electrically conductive connection between two contact areas provided externally on the housing. The cover part exerts a radially outwardly directed pressure onto the inner side of the wall via the insulating film.

  • Publication number: 20150061818
Abstract: A temperature-dependent switch arranged with a housing has a temperature-dependent switching mechanism comprising a snap-action disc, on which at least one outer contact region and at least one inner contact region are provided. A movable contact part held on the inner contact region interacts with a first contact surface connected to a first external connection on an upper part of the housing. The at least one outer contact region is connected at least in sections permanently to a second contact surface connected to a second external connection on a lower part of the housing. The snap-action disc lifts off the movable contact part from the first contact surface depending on the temperature of the switching mechanism. The snap-action disc has at least one compensation section between the at least one outer contact region and the at least one inner contact region.

  • Publication number: 20140225709
Abstract: A temperature-dependent switch has a first and a second stationary counter contact and a temperature-dependent switching mechanism comprising a temperature-dependent snap-action disc bearing a contact element and having a geometric high-temperature configuration and a geometric low-temperature configuration, and a bi-stable spring disc with two geometric configurations with temperature-independent stability. The switching mechanism produces an electrically conductive connection between the two counter contacts via the contact element. The spring disc presses the contact element either against the first counter contact or keeps it spaced apart therefrom. The snap-action disc is supported with its rim on the switch during the switching and in the process the spring disc flips from its first stable configuration into its second stable configuration, in which it remains even when the snap-action disc flips back.

  • Publication number: 20090102340
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for controlling the movement of a plurality of moveable furniture parts which can be moved in a driven manner relative to a stationary furniture part by means of a drive unit via a monitoring unit for monitoring the movement of the moveable furniture parts. With regard to safety standards, it is proposed that the monitoring unit is designed such that, when two moveable furniture parts are moved in a driven manner at the same time, the relative velocity between the two moveable furniture parts can be kept below a predetermined value which is less than the maximum relative velocity which occurs between the two moveable furniture parts as a result of their driven movement. The invention also relates to a corresponding furniture part and to a method for configuration of a device such as this.

  • Publication number: 20070269208
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for detecting a check-back signal in a transmission system for optical signals. According to said method, a constant proportion of the output in a defined frequency range of the check-back signal is concentrated in a narrow-band spectral range and is determined after a transmission phase by means of a narrow-band detection of the concentrated energy around the spectral range. If no signal is identified during the narrow-band detection, a line interruption is determined and no pump source is switched on for safety reasons. The narrow-band detection of the check-back signal also allows the transmission attenuation of the transmission system to be measured.

  • Patent number: 7290789
Abstract: A vehicle steering device includes a steering wheel part coupled non-rotatably to a steering column and a central part which is stationary with regard to a rotation of the steering wheel part. The steering device further includes a gas bag module including a gas generator unit. The gas generator unit in the installed state of the gas bag module is a component of the steering wheel part. Another vehicle steering device also includes a steering wheel part coupled non-rotatably to a steering column and a central part which is stationary with respect to a rotation of the steering part. A gas bag module including a gas generator unit is housed in the stationary central part. The gas generator unit is connected electrically via a supply line with a control unit arranged outside the steering device. The supply line is guided from a first clock spring arranged in a stationary section of the steering device via a second clock spring arranged in the rotatable steering wheel part to the gas generator unit.

  • Patent number: 6970832
Abstract: A distributer of the computer components, which has developed the process for configuring computer systems or networks, provides to the seller or reseller a configuration process comprising a prompting system for computer purchasers to make a sequence of interactive data entries, each of said entries relative to the data processing needs of the purchaser of one of said computer systems, allocating said computer components to said computer systems based upon said user entries, and tracking the quantities of said computer components thereby allocated to computer systems sold by said seller to said purchasers during a selected time period. There is presented to the seller a tiered structure of financial incentive levels offered by the distributer based upon said quantities of allocated computer components and enabling the distributer to dynamically modify the levels of said tiered structure of financial incentives.

  • Patent number: 5229893
Abstract: Synchronizing pulses are separated from a video signal played back from a magnetic tape recording. The individual synchronizing pulses are then inspected in a digital inspection circuit containing two generic array logic (GAL) units and a counter, operating in conjunction with a gate pulse generated from a electrically programmable read-only memory (EPROM) which is controlled by a counter reset by every validated synchronizing pulse. The inspection is in terms of phase and width of the synchronizing pulse. The pulses that pass inspection are utilized for the playback of the video signal, as are also other timing signals generated by the EPROM. The detection of a dropout in the playback demodulator interrupts the provision of inspected synchronizing signals and also prevents false clamping of the final sync separator, but clock pulses driving the counter that addresses the EPROM, together with a reset signal from the EPROM, maintain certain timing signals during the dropout.
