Abstract: An apparatus for communicating content is disclosed. A system and method also perform the functions of the apparatus. The apparatus includes a capturing module that captures a live video of an image and an environment surrounding the image. The image has an embedded cryptographic representation of a code and the code corresponds to a unit of content. The apparatus includes a decoding module that decodes the embedded cryptographic representation of the code, a content retrieval module that retrieves the unit of content corresponding to the code from a storage location, and a display module that displays the unit of content on the live video of the image or the image environment.

Abstract: A method for embedding information in an image includes defining a code corresponding to a unit of content where the code includes at least one character. The method includes defining a cryptographic representation for each character of the at least one character in the code. Each cryptographic representation includes a group of regularly spaced mark locations and each mark location has a mark selected from a normative mark or a native mark. A pattern of marks in the group of regularly spaced mark locations is unique to each character of the at least one character in the code. The method includes embedding the cryptographic representation for each character of the at least one character of the code into at least a portion of an image. A distance between mark locations in the image indicates an orientation of the image.

Abstract: Hybrid particles that comprise a coating surrounding a chalcopyrite material, the coating comprising a metal, a semiconductive material, or a polymer; a core comprising a chalcopyrite material and a shell comprising a functionalized chalcopyrite material, the shell enveloping the core; or a reaction product of a chalcopyrite material and at least one of a reagent, heat, and radiation. Methods of forming the hybrid particles are also disclosed.

The image is photo-etched into a photosensitive material of a printing plane or cliché by the use of a film positive. Ink is applied to the cliché and a transfer medium is placed in contact with the cliché. The transfer medium lifts ink from the image area of the cliché and creates a negative image on the medium. The transfer medium transfers the inked image onto an organic product, such as a flower petal or leaf. The printed image is then set so as to remain on the organic product to communicate a message to and/or to individualize the product for the intended recipient.

Abstract: A holder for facilitating the hygienic insertion of a suppository within the rectum of an animal. The holder includes a relatively large receptacle attached to a harness which secures it to the animal. A smaller enclosure for housing a suppository is positioned within the large receptacle. Due to the construction of the holder, a suppository may be administered without directly contacting either the animal or the suppository. The receptacle is detachable from the harness, and may also serve as an excrement collector.
