  • Patent number: 11585417
Abstract: A ball screw includes a ball screw spindle, and a ball screw nut extending about the ball screw spindle. The ball screw nut has internal threading that corresponds with external threading of the ball screw spindle to define a raceway for rolling elements. The ball screw nut includes one or more bore holes extending from the exterior surface of the ball screw nut, and partially into the ball screw nut. The bore hole defines an end stop. A spring has one end that contacts the end stop, and another end that contacts one of the rolling elements.

  • Publication number: 20190063499
Abstract: Bearing seal assemblies and bearing assemblies including said seal assemblies are disclosed. The bearing seal assembly may include an annular seal including a stiff element, the annular seal configured to be press-fit into a bearing assembly and to form a seal between an interior of the bearing assembly and an exterior of the bearing assembly. The stiff element may have an opening defined therein, and a one-way valve may be configured to allow air to flow through the opening only in a direction from the interior of the bearing assembly to the exterior of the bearing assembly, when the seal is press-fit into the bearing assembly. A flexible member having an opening defined therein may be attached to the stiff element and the openings in the stiff element and the flexible member may at least partially overlap.

  • Publication number: 20170350452
Abstract: Bearing assemblies and methods of forming the same are disclosed. The bearing assembly may include an outer bearing ring having a first outer diameter and defining an outer race and a radially outer surface. A radial extension may be coupled to the radially outer surface of the outer bearing ring to expand an outer diameter of the bearing assembly from the first outer diameter to a larger second outer diameter. The second outer diameter may be configured to correspond to a diameter of a housing cavity that is larger than the first diameter such that the bearing assembly can be coupled to the housing (e.g., press fit into the housing). The radial extension may be over-molded or press fit onto the outer bearing ring. The radial extension may be formed of a material less dense than the outer bearing ring, such as a polymer or elastomer.

  • Patent number: 5519286
Abstract: An electronic ballast is provided with a built-in timed electric power saver and with photoelectric switching for high-pressure mercury vapor, metallic vapor and sodium vapor lamps. The electronic ballast with the built-in timed saver and photoelectric switching for high-pressure mercury vapor, metallic vapor and sodium lamps includes an electronic circuit having as a principle the obtaining of an increase in the frequency of the electric power distribution network. This increase is accomplished by means of a switching that results in a current limiting electronic device, which also is able to incorporate a timed electric power saver, the utilization of a single equipment for various lamp lower ratings, a photo-sensitive element for control of the lamp switching in accordance with the lighting level of the installation site and an ignitor for lamps requiring a voltage higher than the rated one.
