Abstract: A method for managing the transmission of geographical locations from a geolocation beacon during the movement thereof. The method includes: defining a first reference communication network associated with a first value and with a reference frequency used for the transmission of the locations over the first network; locating the beacon in a second network during the movement thereof; obtaining a second value associated with the second network; comparing the first and the second value, and when the values differ, the method includes modifying the reference frequency for the transmission of the locations over the second network.

A scene includes nodes for each element in the scene. Depending from these would be nodes describing aspects of those elements, such as their texture and shape. A root node join the descriptions of each of the objects in the scene. Optimizing the amount of computation includes selecting nodes in the tree and calculating how to render each sub-tree. When possible, rendering information is calculated for only those portions of objects that will ultimately be shown to the user.

Additionally, the response of a particular user to a data stream may result in personalized information being sent to that user in real time. Various configurations are used to multicast or unicast a program to users and multicast or unicast additional information that is responsive to input from those users.
