Abstract: A storage and retrieval facility for storage units including a plurality of storage racks, spaced apart from each other to form aisles, at least one transit location, arranged under at least one of the storage racks, at least one first vehicle, configured to circulate in the aisles and to transport a storage unit between a storage location located at a height and the at least one transit location, at least one second vehicle configured to transport a storage unit between the at least one transit location and at least one location external to the storage racks, at least one free passage, adjacent to the transit location and configured to allow the at least one second vehicle to travel along a traffic lane that is transverse to the aisles.

Abstract: A method for order preparation, which includes moving a motorized vehicle across the floor in a transit zone at least in a first horizontal direction so as to align the vehicle, in a second horizontal direction, with a passageway of a storage area; and moving the vehicle in the passageway in the second horizontal direction until the vehicle is positioned in an aisle of the storage area which serves a rack where the collection cell is located; the vehicle being configured to move freely across the floor and the orientation of the vehicle remaining fixed during the method.

Abstract: An order picking system including: shelving units delimiting an aisle; and a self-guiding carriage having climbing elements including four sprockets each intended to cooperate with shelves or chains attached to the posts, each of the sprockets being mounted on a support movable with respect to the frame of the carriage between an extended position and a retracted position. The width or length of the carriage is less than the spacing between the posts of the first pair of posts or the second pair of posts, and the movable support is configured such that, in the deployed position, at least a portion of each of the sprockets also protrudes from an edge of the frame facing the aisle.

Abstract: A bin storage system includes a plurality of storage columns configured to receive a stack of bins. Upper contours of the storage columns form a grid. At least one robot operates above the grid, which is capable of picking up, transporting and depositing bins. The robot includes elements for gripping and lifting at least one bin. A plurality of removable covers above the grid form a circulation platform for the robot. The robot includes elements for pushing, pulling and/or lifting the covers to change the position of the covers to free access to the upper part of the columns.

Abstract: An automatic product storage and retrieval system including: a bin storage facility having a plurality of storage columns arranged in a grid and configured to receive a vertical stack of bins; and at least one robot having a gripping and lifting element for gripping and lifting at least one bin and a mobile support configured to slide vertically around the bins. The gripping and lifting element includes at least one hook mounted so as to pivot with respect to the support or a finger guided in translation in a horizontal slide cooperating with one or more return springs. The bins have at least one lug with a locking housing for the hook substantially turned downwards and a tilted portion substantially turned upwards enabling a free end of the hook or of the bin to be pushed back towards the outside of the bin when the support moves downwards.

The system includes: a bin suitable for accommodating the object; and a powered trolley capable of climbing along the rack including a device for gripping and removing the bin. The gripping and removal device includes a support mounted so as to be movable relative to the chassis of the trolley between: an extended position, in which the support extends at least partially on a lateral edge of the carriage out of alignment with the chassis; and a retracted position, in which the support is housed opposite the chassis. The support includes a structural element and a protruding finger fixed with respect to the structural element and facing upward. The bottom of the bin has a fingerprint configured to accommodate a portion of the finger.

Abstract: An order picking system includes an automatic guided trolley for picking objects for an order in at least one shelving and having at least two running wheels and gear wheel supports cooperating with two pairs of uprights so as to allow the trolley to rise along the uprights. A stretched roller chain is fixed on each of the uprights, the chain extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the upright to which it is fixed to receive a tooth of the gear wheel cooperating with the upright to which it is fixed. Two adjacent rollers of the chain are spaced apart by the pitch value of the gear wheel. Each movable support has a securing element with one of the four uprights to maintain a predetermined distance between the axis of the gear wheel mounted on the movable support and the chain receiving the teeth of the gear wheel.

Abstract: An automated guided trolley for transporting and/or handling a load. The trolley has a main frame for receiving the load and a supporting frame having two walking beams extending respectively towards the front and the rear of the trolley. The walking beams are mounted rotatably with respect to the main frame respectively about a first axis and a second axis and such a walking beam includes elements for securing one arm of one walking beam to one arm of the other walking beam and for supporting the first of these arms on the other arm.
