  • Patent number: 8250819
Abstract: An association formed from two hollow section ends, the inside of which is based on a plastic that are butted together by a connector, the connector including a body with a central part and two flanges made of plastic that are engaged in the hollow section ends respectively and that have an anchoring mechanism capable of keeping the hollow ends in place around the connector. The anchoring mechanism of the connector is made of plastic and includes at least one element that is flexible and comes into friction contact with the inside of the hollow section ends.

  • Patent number: 7918058
Abstract: A device for attaching a profiled trim to a portion of a shaped bead mounted on a glazing, for example mounted on at least part of the periphery of a glazing. The device includes at least one rigid clip including at least an upstream interacting part configured to allow interaction with the shaped bead and a downstream interacting part configured to allow interaction with the profiled trim. The upstream interacting part includes at least one protruding male element or a hollow female element, this element interacting respectively with a corresponding hollow female element or a protruding male element arranged in the shaped bead. The hollow female element has internal dimensions at least partially less than external dimensions of the protruding male element.

  • Publication number: 20100202824
Abstract: Connector (1) intended to connect two hollow section-piece ends, comprising a body (10) and a sealing element (3) which is impervious to liquids, gases and water vapor and which is supported by a part (11) of the body (10), characterized in that the sealing element (3) comprises two opposed protrusions (31, 32) which project laterally with respect to the sealing element support part (11) so as to form, between these protrusions and the body (10) respectively two accommodating spaces (40, 41).

  • Publication number: 20090291262
Abstract: A method and a device for mass-production of window glazings using nominal data defining a reference window glazing that is curved, and permissible tolerance bands for these nominal data, in which the mass-produced window glazings are each curved and each includes at least one profiled strip including at least one insert by encapsulation. In a production run, for each window glazing of the production run, at least i) the molding cavity of the mold, or ii) the glazed element, or iii) the insert or inserts, is not of a configuration that corresponds to the dimensions for the reference window glazing. The mass-produced window glazings produced have a curvature that corresponds to that of the reference window glazing within the tolerance bands.
