    Abstract: Apparatus and method for handling pulverulant material in fluidized bed form. The material is fed into the upper part of a two-part container, whose lower part consists of two independent volumes separated from the upper part by a porous wall comprising two horizontal parts at different levels. A pressure gap is created between the two separate volumes, and the evolution of this gap enables clogging to be detected. When the pressure differential exceeds a predetermined value, the porous wall is cleaned.
