  • Patent number: 8341807
Abstract: A mounting device 12 for producing all-steel card clothings 2 with improved mounting quality. The mounting device 12 comprises a guide arrangement 28 for guiding the profile wire 3. The guide arrangement 28 may comprise, for example, an angle adjustment arrangement 32 comprising two brake jaws 30, 31. The mounting device 12 has at least one longitudinal axis 34, 45, about which the guide arrangement 28 can be pivoted. The guide arrangement 28 can be pivoted manually, with the use of a motor or by spring force. In addition, the guide arrangement 28 and the angle adjustment arrangement 32, respectively, can be adjusted in linear direction, and horizontally and vertically in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the profile wire 38. Optionally, the guide arrangement 28 may replace a separate brake arrangement as well as a separate alignment arrangement.

  • Patent number: 7963301
Abstract: A heald body fabricated of a round wire and having a round shank with a flattened intermediate or center section (9) that is provided with a widened opening (16) delimited by two legs (14, 15). The area (A1) of the round cross section of the shank (20) substantially corresponds to the sum of the cross sectional areas (A5, A6) of the two legs (14, 15) of the intermediate section, whereby the heald body has a substantially constant cross-sectional area along its length.

  • Patent number: 7798325
Abstract: A wedge-shaped receptacle (9) is provided for packaging felting needles (8). The wedge shape is configured in such a manner that the felting needles lie in the receptacle in a mutual lateral engagement, that is, they are held approximately parallel to one another and they firmly clamp one another without their tips abutting against the receptacle body. This, on the one hand, results in a particular protection of the felting needles (8) during transportation and, on the other hand, results in a simple handling with the lowest danger of injuries.

  • Publication number: 20100084040
Abstract: A heald in accordance with the invention is preferably fabricated of a round wire, said wire having a center section (9). This section has an octagonal cross-section that is defined by two legs that are connected to each other by a thin strip. In so doing, the heald body (2) may be split to accommodate a thread eye insert (6). The thread eye insert (6) is preferably secured with the use of an adhesive in the resultant opening (16).
