  • Patent number: 4305148
Abstract: An automatic exchange with a digital switching network, for the connecton of circuits or subscriber lines, said exchange comprising at least one central computer, signalling receiver and sender peripherals serving said circuits or lines, switching network marker peripherals, all said peripherals being placed under the control of the central computer, and said circuits or lines being connected to the switching network by digital channels in time division multiplex links characterized in that certain peripherals (UPI, LMQ) are piloted by the computer through the switching network RCX, the messages enabling computer (UCA) to pilot at least one peripheral (UPI, LMQ) being carried by a digital connection comprising two TDM-PCM links (MIC-C, MIC-P/MIC-M) connected to the switching network, the first said link (MIC-C) connecting to the computer, and the second (MIC-P/MIC-M) connecting to said peripheral (UP1/LMQ).

  • Patent number: 4237545
Abstract: A programmable sequential logic circuit processes data according to a prom containing instructions of different lengths, each instruction composed of one or several words. The sequential logic circuit comprises a memory containing the instructions and data words, an arithmetic and logical processing unit (ALU), and an instruction register for temporarily storing an instruction word read from the memory. An adder is connected to index the contents of address registers by adding the contents of one of a plurality of data registers. A system clock circuit driven by a clock and an operation code in the instruction register to control the operation of the sequential logic circuit. Access to the ALU is through an input multiplexer inputs of which are connected to the output of the memory and the outputs of the data registers and of the address registers. The output of the ALU is connected to an output bus via a circuit having outputs which adopt a high impedance state when they are not enabled.

  • Patent number: 4144406
Abstract: The time-switching network according to the invention has an inlet stage, an outlet stage, and a selection switching stage, respectively comprising M, M, and N groups. It includes line equipments; each inlet stage group has a storage function, the same applying to each outlet stage group and each selection switching stage group. All inlet storages have access to each switching memory via one inlet selection multiplexer per switching group, the output of each inlet storage being multipled to one inlet of each such selector; all switching memories are accessible from each outlet storage via an access selector, the outlet of each switching memory being multiplied to one point of each outlet access selectors' field; the overall system is a full access (non-blocking) switching network.

  • Patent number: 4127745
Abstract: A time-multiplex connection network comprising an inlet stage and an outlet tage to which transmission lines are connected, and a switching stage. It constitutes a modular network with a matrix structure, in which the West-East lines represent modules, each comprising:Line equipment for a group of subscribersInlet storage serving the line equipmentA switching sub-group pertaining to each group in the switching stageInterfaces with control logic and signalling equipment.
