  • Patent number: 5325887
Abstract: A device for correcting interchanged pipe connections in a sink or bathtub faucet has a housing 1 with passages 10,11 for hot and cold water. From each passage tap lines 14, 15 run to a cylindrical recess 2 having a flat bottom 22. Discharge pipes 5,5' for mixed water are also led to the bottom by tap lines 16,17. The two feed tap lines 14,15 and, diagonally opposite, the discharge tap lines 16,17, empty centrally. A connector 6 installed in the recess 2 is provided with passages 34-37, which starting from annular channels 18-20 located at the bottom, lead to openings of feed pipes 24-27 in a fitting housing 9. The connector has two pieces, a central part 7 installed interchangeably by 180.degree. in a peripheral part 8. The connector 6 can also be rotated by 180.degree. on the housing 9, or by 360.degree. together with the housing.

  • Patent number: 5210883
Abstract: The installation block has a support frame 1 assembled from longitudinal and transverse sections (3, 2) as well as a molding (22) foamed into this frame. Connections (5, 18, 19) for fastening a sanitary device (6), as well as for fastening the installation block on a building wall are arranged on the support frame (1). The elements needed for supplying and discharging from the sanitary device are embedded in the molding (22) made from expanded polystyrene foam. In addition, the molding (22) holds the sections (3, 2) together, and forms a condensation water insulation for a flush tank 4 embedded in the foam.

  • Patent number: 5163186
Abstract: The installation block comprises a self-supporting body (1) made of foamed concrete into which a flush tank (2) with an inspection opening (2a) is foamed. A spiral hose (3), which forms a normally empty conduit (9) which empties into the flush tank (2) at one end and leads at the other end outwardly to the front side of the installation block (1), is also foamed into the body (1). To attach a water closet with subdouche, a flexible connecting hose (4), which comprises an attachment piece at the bottom end and at the other end is connected directly to the inlet valve of the flush tank, is inserted into the empty conduit (9).

  • Patent number: 4307546
Abstract: Partitioning for preventing the spread of fire or smoke through wall apertures created by the burning of plastic pipe. Pre-stressed metal squeezing elements are retained by plastic bolts which melt at about 120.degree. C., releasing the squeezing elements and permitting them to squeeze together the heat-softened plastic pipe. An insert of foamable material may additionally be used to supplement the aperture sealing effect.
