Abstract: A composition containing(A) 10 parts by weight of an anionic product obtained by addition of 5 to 20 mols of ethylene oxide to an aliphatic saturated or unsaturated alcohol of 10 to 24 carbon atoms, followed by carboxymethylation(B) 1 to 15 parts by weight of a cationic addition product of 50 to 150 mols of ethylene oxide to a fatty amino-(C.sub.2-3)alkylene-amine(C) 1 to 10 parts by weight of a non-ionic addition product of 20 to 150 mols of ethylene oxide to castor oil, or a non-ionic sequenced addition product of 20 to 150 mols of ethylene oxide and 1 to 10 mols of propylene oxide to castor oil, and(D) 1 to 20 parts by weight of a N-(.beta.-hydroxy-(C.sub.2-4)alkyl)-fatty acid amide,is a dyeing auxiliary useful for the dyeing in one bath or printing of a mixed textile substrate comprising cationic dyeable fibres and anionic or disperse dyeable fibres.

Abstract: A detergent composition comprises an aqueous solution of the following components:A: 3 to 6 parts by weight of a nitrilocarboxylic acid in free acid or salt form,B: 2 to 11 parts by weight of a higher (C.sub.8-24) alkyl phenyl polyglycol ether having from 5 to 25 glycol residues,C: 5 to 15 parts by weight of an alkanolamine,D: 1 to 3 parts by weight of a block copolymer of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide of an average molecular weight from 1500 to 2500 and containing from 5 to 15% by weight of ethylene oxide end units,E: 0 to 3 parts by weight of a higher (C.sub.8-14) alcohol,F: 0 to 1 parts by weight of a water-soluble silicone oil,and optionally one of the following solvents:G: 10 to 40 parts by weight of an organic solvent based on aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon or chlorinated hydrocarbon orH: 5 to 20 parts by weight of a (C.sub.13) alcohol or a water-soluble glycol.

Abstract: Disclosed is a liquid dye concentrate for dilution down to form a dyebath for the dyeing of blend substrates comprising acid and cationic dyeable fibres, which concentrate comprises at least one acid dye, at least one cationic dye and, as auxiliary agents, a nonionic or anionic polyglycol ether, or a mixture thereof, and a cationic, amino group containing polyglycol ether, other preferred optional additives being a low molecular weight carboxylic acid, such as acetic or formic, and one or more aliphatic C.sub.6-16 alcohols, particularly for viscosity stabilization and/or foam inhibition. Also disclosed is a dyeing process employing such a concentrate in dilute form.
