The masking layer comprises at least one see-through area so that the contrasting layer is at least partially visible on the wearer-facing side of the article through the see-through area. In one execution, the masking layer may be between the topsheet and the absorbent layer and the contrasting layer may be disposed between the masking layer and the absorbent layer.

Abstract: An absorbent article having a front side, a back side, a longitudinal axis notionally extending in a longitudinal direction from the middle of the front side to the middle of the back side. The absorbent article has a length L measured along the longitudinal axis. The absorbent article comprises a liquid permeable topsheet on the wearer-facing side, a liquid impermeable backsheet on the garment-facing side, an absorbent core between the topsheet and the backsheet, and an acquisition layer comprising two or more discrete longitudinally-orientated stripes of an acquisition material between the topsheet and the absorbent core. The topsheet forms recesses at the surface of the absorbent article in the gaps between the stripes.

Abstract: An absorbent article such as a diaper comprising an acquisition layer with one or more longitudinally-extending stretch openings is provided. The stretch openings may be obtained by slitting and stretching an acquisition layer material. The topsheet forms recesses at the wearer-facing surface of the absorbent article as it folds inside the stretch openings. The stretch openings may provide a three dimensional profile on the wearer-facing side of the absorbent article in a simple and cost effective manner.

The cooking apparatus further comprises a first port configured to emit the radiation into a first region of the heating cavity from the supply cavity and a second port configured to emit the radiation into a second region of the heating cavity from the supply cavity. A septum is disposed along the supply cavity. The septum is configured to adjust a proportion of the radiation emitted from the first port and the second port into the heating cavity.

Abstract: An electric submersible pumping system for use in pumping fluids from a wellbore includes a motor that is filled with a motor lubricant, a pump driven by the motor, a thrust chamber connected between the motor and the pump, and a seal section. The thrust chamber is filled with thrust chamber lubricant and the motor and seal section are filled with motor lubricant. To prevent the mixing of the thrust chamber lubricant with the motor lubricant, the thrust chamber is in fluid isolation from the motor and the seal section. The electric submersible pumping system may include an upper seal section, a lower seal section or both upper and lower seal sections.

Such a widget can include a grid, long edit box, spreadsheet, or any other such element, such that the widget has a viewable extent larger than can be displayed on a region of the page corresponding to the widget. A user opens a modal window for a widget and resizes and/or move the modal window in order to alter the viewable extent of the widget which is displayed. Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and method of treating temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) and bruxism by placement in the mouth of an individual with a dental mouth guard to produce a minor irritation of the palate of a person suffering from temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) and bruxism through one or more irritation teeth or spines that mildly irritate the palate of a wearer when tooth grinding or maxillary pressure occurs. The mouth guard includes an irritation plate and a tooth molding for placement and fitting to a patient's upper dentition. The irritation plate employs irritation spikes whereupon commencing of tooth grinding initiate minor irritation to the palate of a wearer wherein, the wearer is alerted to the occurrence of tooth grinding, whether the wearer is sleeping or awake. The irritation plate also employs use of two “wings” that engage the wearer's teeth upon commencement of tooth grinding.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mouth guard and methods of use to aid in the treatment of bruxism and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder comprising an adjustable molded thermoplastic outer face plate, an inner face plate and irritation spines, the mouth guard containing a section for placement and fitting to a patient's upper and lower dentition, the molded thermoplastic mouth guard including tooth channels that, upon commencing of tooth grinding, initiate mild irritation to the gums or cheeks of a wearer by the irritation spines wherein, the wearer is alerted to the occurrence of tooth grinding, whether the wearer is sleeping or awake, whereupon the wearer ceases the tooth grinding thereby preventing development of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder and tooth wear.
