  • Publication number: 20240332946
Abstract: Electrical system and method for detecting an end-of-life (EOL) of a circuit are disclosed. In an embodiment, the electrical system includes a sensing circuit for detecting variance of an input electrical power to an electrical device; and a processor for receiving the variance and comparing the variance with a threshold range. When the variance is out of the threshold range, the processor generates a signal to cause the output electrical power disconnected.

  • Publication number: 20240129123
Abstract: An access control method and system that uses tokens on a blockchain which are used for subsequent access to a local network. The tokens are authenticated on the local network using blockchain. A client device can present a token to the local network from anywhere in the world in order to access at least one device on the local network. In an example, the method includes presenting, to a node of the local network, the token; and receiving, from the node, successful authentication of the token. The method can include, after the successful authentication of the token, authorizing the client device to access a device on the local network or removing access to the device for the client device.

  • Publication number: 20240005320
Abstract: A non-fungible token (NFT) system and NFT method that includes relational or causal data between different NFTs in a set of NFTs. The NFT method includes minting, transferring, burning, or fusing NFTs, into a new NFT based on ownership of particular subset of NFTs in a set of NFTs. The NFT method includes execution of at least one rule or smart contract after minting or transferring of a NFT that relates to another NFT which is already minted or to be minted. The method can include: minting, transferring, burning, or fusing NFTs on a blockchain, using at least one processor, a first NFT having NFT metadata; and executing, using the at least one processor, at least one rule which references the first NFT and at least one other NFT. Other examples of the NFT method are applied to fractional NFTs in a similar fashion.

  • Publication number: 20220209821
Abstract: An example embodiment is a voice appliance including: a plurality of user interface devices comprising at least a microphone and a speaker; a plug for receiving power to the appliance or load; and a communication subsystem configured for wired communication with an electrical receptacle through the plug when plugged into the electrical receptacle. An electrical receptacle for connection to power lines comprises: at least one plug outlet configured to provide DC output, wherein the at least one plug outlet is configured to provide access to a wired communication network defined by at least one of the power lines. The plug outlet can be a Universal Serial Bus (USB) plug outlet to connect to a mobile device or a removable USB memory device. An intelligent junction box at the circuit breaker panel is configured to perform dynamic power allocation and power line communication.
