  • Patent number: 10917814
Abstract: To control content delivery to plural clients of a mobile communication network, a network entity of the mobile communication network collects geo information of the plural clients and evaluates the collected geo information of the plural clients based on a rule to determine whether the content delivery is to be adapted. The network entity identifies a region for which the content delivery is to be adapted. The network entity selectively outputs a message to a controlling entity if it is determined that the content delivery is to be adapted. The controlling entity controls the content delivery in response to receiving the message, to adapt the content delivery for clients located in the identified region.

  • Patent number: 10075511
Abstract: A distribution server for geographically targeted message distribution to a client is used for providing an application service, in particular a vehicular traffic related application service, such as a Cooperative Intelligent Transport System (C-ITS) service. An interworking device connects, e.g., via a cellular network connection, to the distribution server. Further, the interworking device connects via an ad-hoc network connection to the client. On behalf of the client, the interworking device performs registration for the application service at the distribution server. On the basis of the registration, the interworking device forwards at least one message of the application service between the distribution server and the client.

  • Patent number: 9763212
Abstract: A method provides a network service in a communication network covering a geographical area for a plurality of mobile clients. A mobile client (among the plurality of mobile clients) registers with the communication network. A geomessaging register identifies a service enabler based on registration information of the mobile client. The geomessaging register sends, to the identified service enabler, contact information of the mobile client. The service enabler sends, to the geomessaging register, contact information of the service enabler. The geomessaging register then sends, to the mobile client, the contact information of the service enabler. The mobile client is then connected to the service enabler for receiving the network service. Related network nodes participate in providing such services.

  • Patent number: 9215084
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for generating a personalized content file for a user entity using a file repair request for identifying a user. The file repair request is initiated by generating a preliminary file that is transmitted to the user entity, the preliminary file containing a predetermined placeholder. The preliminary file is transmitted to the user entity, the user entity starting the file repair request. The personalized content file is generated by replacing the predetermined placeholder in the preliminary file by a personalized content.
