    Abstract: A method for the automated driving of a transportation vehicle to approach a parking position which includes providing a trajectory for a controller of the transportation vehicle and generating signals for controlling a movement of the transportation vehicle along the trajectory provided, wherein the provision of the trajectory includes determining a current position of the transportation vehicle by a position-determining device, setting up a communication link to a server outside the transportation vehicle by a communication device, transmitting the current determined position of the transportation vehicle to the server via the communication link, retrieving and receiving at least one trajectory, stored at the server, via the communication link, wherein the retrieved and received trajectory runs at least through a tolerance range about the current determined position of the transportation vehicle.
