Abstract: An atomizer and an electronic cigarette having the same are provided, the atomizer includes a base; an adjusting ring fixed on the base and configured to adjust a volume of air inflow, the adjusting ring bored with a first air inlet; and an atomizing component partly received in the adjusting ring and being in rotatable connection with the base. Part of the atomizing component received in the adjusting ring is bored with a second air inlet corresponding to the first air inlet. When an external force drives the atomizing component excluding the part thereof received in the adjusting ring to rotate relatively to the base, an overlap ratio of the first air inlet and the second air inlet is capable to be adjusted.

The atomizing device includes: an atomizing sleeve defining an e-liquid hole; an atomizing core removably arranged in the atomizing sleeve; and a sealing mechanism including a return spring and a liquid stopper, the liquid stopper connected to the atomizing sleeve via the return spring and configured to seal the e-liquid hole. When the atomizing core is received in the atomizing sleeve, the liquid stopper overcomes an elastic force of the return spring to open the e-liquid hole; and when the atomizing core is removed from the atomizing sleeve, the liquid stopper seals the e-liquid hole under the elastic force of the return spring.

The first air inlet is defined in the first end, so that external air can enter the liquid chamber via the first air inlet. The first porous liquid blocking element covers the first air inlet. The first porous liquid blocking element is capable of preventing the tobacco liquid in the liquid chamber from flowing out via the first air inlet, and allows air to pass through. The top part is detachably connected to the first end. The top part and the bottom part cooperatively clamp the first liquid blocking element therebetween.
