  • Patent number: 12654051
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and systems for measuring a fire spread rate by a controller component are provided. The method includes: monitoring a field of view of a first sensor, where the first sensor is a long wavelength infrared (LWIR) camera configured to detect one or more fire by products; determining that a fire event occurs based on a detection of at least one particle in the field of view of the first sensor; determining a fire spread rate in an instance that the fire event occurs; and triggering an extinguisher system according to the fire spread rate and a distance between the first sensor and the extinguisher system.

  • Publication number: 20260030782
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed. The system comprises an image capturing device and at least one processor communicatively coupled to the image capturing device. The image capturing device is configured to capture one or more images. The at least one processor is configured to receive one or more images from the image capturing device. Further, the at least one processor is configured to analyze the received one or more images using AI/ML model. Further, the at least one processor is configured to determine a MTF value from each of the one or more images. Further, compare the determined MTF value with a predefined MTF value, and identify one or more defects on a lens and/or a protective dome of the image capturing device by analyzing the one or more images using the AI/ML model or by determining the determined MTF value is lower or higher by a predefined limit.

  • Publication number: 20260022969
Abstract: A flame monitoring system is disclosed. The flame monitoring system comprises a flame detector configured to sense an infrared energy (E) emitted by a flame, an image capturing device, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to determine an area (A) of the flame based at least on a first distance (d1) between the flame and the flame detector, a predefined flame constant (k), and the infrared energy (E); determine a second distance (d2) between the flame and the flame detector based at least on parameters associated with the image capturing device and (A); determine a difference between the first distance (d1) and the second distance (d2); and in an instance in which the difference between the first distance (d1) and the second distance (d2) is less than or equal to a threshold value, validate the area (A) as an actual area of the flame.

  • Publication number: 20250244073
Abstract: A video-based system for controlling one or more environmental parameters of a food storage area of a facility may comprise an environmental control system that services the food storage area of the facility and a video camera. The video camera may include a camera housing, a camera housed by the camera housing for providing a video stream of the food storage area, a communication port for communicating with the environmental control system, and a controller housed by the camera housing and operatively coupled to the camera and the communication port. The controller may be configured to analyze the video stream captured by the camera to identify a food item in the food storage area, identify one or more ideal food storage environmental parameters for the identified food item, and transmit the one or more ideal food storage environmental parameters for the identified food item to the environmental control system.

  • Publication number: 20240143467
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to methods, apparatuses, and systems for performing firmware functionality testing of a gas detector device, comprising: for each gas of one or more gases; applying selected test data from test data stored locally on the gas detector device, wherein the selected test data comprise simulated sensor data and is selected based at least in part on the gas; generating one or more output signals based at least in part on processing the selected test data; and generating testing output data based at least in part on comparing the one or more output signals to one or more expected output signals for the selected test data, wherein the testing output data comprise data indicative of performance of one or more firmware functionalities of the gas detector device with respect to the gas.
