  • Patent number: 10108825
Abstract: A near field communication (NFC) reader is disclosed. The NFC reader includes a first section. The first section includes an NFC controller and a filter coupled to the NFC controller. The filter includes a filter capacitor. The first section further includes a first tuning circuit coupled to the filter. The first tuning circuit includes a tuner capacitor that is electrically coupled in parallel to the filter capacitor. The first tuning circuit is configured and adapted to be coupled to a coaxial cable. The NFC reader also includes a second section. The second section includes a second tuning circuit. The second tuning circuit includes a second tuner capacitor and a damping resistor. The second tuning circuit is configured and adopted to be coupled to the coaxial cable. The second section further includes an antenna coupled to the second tuning circuit.

  • Publication number: 20180071626
Abstract: A detection device for detecting the presence of an identification element within a detection area of the reader, the detection device defining at least a first a second and a third detection area each configured to receive one or more identification elements and the detection device being configured to detect which detection area an identification element is positioned in, wherein the detection device comprises a first sensor for detecting a presence of an identification element; wherein the first sensor is configured to detect a presence of an identification element in the first and third detection areas and the second sensor is configured to detect a presence of an identification element in the second and third detection areas.

  • Patent number: 7050518
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the asynchronous serial data transmission between a transmitter and a receiver over a radio transmission link, whereby a synchronization data frame and a carrier recognition frame is arranged in front of the useful data frame. The data frames are each enframed at the beginning and end by a start bit and a stop bit at the beginning and end. The coding of all data frames results such that, in addition to the start and stop bits, an equal number of zero and one bits exists.
