The method includes receiving, from a user terminal, a first query request that is used to obtain object information, the first query request carrying location information of the user terminal, and querying, in response to a cache area being not empty, the cache area for hotspot data in an area range in which the location information of the user terminal is located, the hotspot data being information of an object included in the area range, and the hotspot data being cached in response to a frequency of query access occurring in the area range exceeding a predetermined threshold. The method further includes sending, to the user terminal, the hotspot data in the area range.
