    Abstract: A redundant vehicle braking system and its electronic control unit and control method thereof is disclosed. The redundant braking system is coupled to the main braking system of the vehicle. The electronic control unit comprises: a receiving module configured to receive a status signal indicating the status of the main braking system and a sensor signal indicating a driver input condition to the brake pedal and a vehicle speed condition; an activation module configured to activate the braking assist function of the redundant braking system when it is judged that the main braking system has entered a mechanical backup state based on the status signal; and a braking assist module configured to, upon activation of the braking assist function, execute a corresponding one of a plurality of braking assist modes based on the sensor signal, wherein the plurality of braking assist modes comprise: a standby mode, a first-assist adjustable mode, a second-assist adjustable mode, and a braking pressure holding mode.

    Abstract: A comfort brake control system and a brake method for a vehicle is disclosed. The comfort brake control system includes: a human-machine interaction interface, configured to provide an interface of multiple optional comfort brake levels of the vehicle, and receive selection of one of the multiple comfort brake levels to switch a current comfort brake level of the vehicle, wherein each comfort brake level comprises a brake parameter corresponding to the comfort brake level, and the brake parameter comprises at least brake pressure and a brake pressure change rate of at least one brake cylinder of the vehicle; and a comfort brake module, configured to determine whether a current state of the vehicle meets a predetermined switching condition; and when it is determined that the switching condition is met, obtain a brake parameter corresponding to a selected comfort brake level, and transmit the obtained brake parameter to a brake system of the vehicle by using a vehicle bus of the vehicle.

The comfort brake control system includes: a human-machine interaction interface, configured to provide an interface for modifying the one or more brake parameters and receive a modification to at least one of the one or more brake parameters; and a comfort brake module, configured to determine whether the modification satisfies a safety requirement, allow the modification when it is determined that the modification satisfies the safety requirement, and prohibit the modification when it is determined that the modification does not satisfy the safety requirement; wherein the comfort brake module is further configured to assess a comfort degree of vehicle braking after the modification if it is determined that the modification satisfies the safety requirement.

    Abstract: A system and method provide unaligned load/store functionality for a processor that supports only aligned load/store instructions. An exemplary embodiment includes an extension adapter including registers for storing data and load/store buffers for realigning data. A processor executes aligned load/store instructions that transfer data in multiples of bytes. Instructions are included for transferring data between memory and the load/store buffers, initializing and transferring data, initializing and transferring data in numbers of bits, advancing or offsetting a data pointer, and for flushing the load/store buffers. In a preferred embodiment, the extension adapter comprises a wide register file for buffering full words of data, load/store buffers formed from multiple single-bit registers for buffering data bits and streaming data for use by the processor, and address generators for pointing to data or memory addresses.
