Abstract: Workbench (1) for supporting and moving articles comprising a frame (22), a support surface (24) able to tilt relative to the frame (22) and pass from an initial horizontal position into a final inclined position, at least one rigid element (30) hinged with the frame (22) at a pivoting point (P) and having an end portion (36) hinged with the surface (24) and at least one first actuator (44) configured to raise and rotate the surface (24) into an intermediate inclined position. The element (30) is shaped as a rocker arm with the pivoting point (P) arranged between a first wing (32) and a second wing (34) and movement means (54) are provided for rotation of the rocker arm (30) about an axis (X2) so as to move the surface (24) from the intermediate position into the final inclined position. The first actuator (44) comprises a fist end (46) hinged with the rocker arm (30) and a second end (48) hinged with the support surface (24).

Abstract: A machine (12) for cutting slabs of stone or stone-like material comprises a work bench (13), two lateral support structures (14, 16) between which a beam (18) runs. On the beam (18) there is arranged a first machining unit (20) comprising: a carriage (22) adapted to slide along the beam (18); a sleeve (24) adapted to slide with respect to the carriage (22) in the vertical direction; a machining head (26), connected to the end of the sleeve (24) and adapted to rotate relative to the sleeve (24) about a vertical axis (28). The machining head (26) comprises a spindle (30) on which a cutting disc (32) is mounted. Manipulator means (34) for slabs or portions thereof, engaged with the head or the sleeve, are also provided. The machine comprises a second machining unit (36) mounted slidably on the said beam (18) and comprising at least one second machining head (38) with fixed orientation, adapted to be moved in the vertical direction and comprising a spindle (42, 44) on which a cutting disk (46, 48) is mounted.

Abstract: A cutting device for a machine tool, suitable for mounting on the spindle support structure of a machine tool for processing and cutting materials, incorporates suckers able to cause the device to adhere to and be fixed to the materials being machined. Further, a cutting head having a protection device with incorporated suckers, a cutting spindle having a protection device with incorporated suckers and a machine for machining the materials, having a cutting spindle incorporating suckers.

Abstract: A machine (10) for machining materials in slab form (14) comprises a working surface (13), a cutting spindle (12) on which a cutting disc (22) is mounted, motor means (11) for moving the cutting spindle on the working surface, controlled by an electronic control system (23). The cutting spindle (12) is rotatable about an axis (21) so as to move upon command between a first position in which the cutting disc (22) is perpendicular to the working surface, and a second position in which the cutting disc (22) is parallel to the working surface. The cutting spindle (12) has a protection device (26) which covers at least partially the cutting disc and which comprises a pick-up element (27) with a surface (28) provided with sucker means (29) able to cause said device (26) to adhere and be fixed to the materials being machined on the working surface when the cutting spindle (12) is in the second position, so that the material can be moved on the working surface by moving the cutting spindle (12).

Abstract: A cutting device for a machine tool, suitable for mounting on the spindle support structure of a machine tool (200) for processing and cutting materials (224), incorporates sucker means (44a,b,c,d,e,f; 64a,b,c) able to cause said device (30) to adhere to and be fixed to the materials being machined (224).
