  • Publication number: 20140152342
Abstract: The present invention discloses a CMOS differential logic circuit. The CMOS differential logic circuit includes a precharge differential logic unit, which is precharged to a source voltage in response to a clock signal and is configured to output voltage having an increased load-driving ability using a boosting voltage; a voltage-boosting unit, which is pulled down by a ground voltage in response to the clock signal and is configured to boost the pulled-down voltage using capacitive coupling and output the boosting voltage; and a switching unit, which is configured to couple the precharge differential logic unit and the voltage-boosting unit in response to the clock signal. The propagation delay of a signal from the input terminal to the output terminal of a circuit in a low-source-voltage environment can be reduced, and the operating speed of the circuit and energy efficiency of the operation thereof can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20130261424
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for processing a biofeedback-treated, respiration-induced signal image using the biofeedback principle, wherein a process for processing the respiration-induced signal image comprises the steps of: (a) acquiring a respiration-induced signal image from a treatment site of a patient in need of radiotherapy treatment using a photographing device; (b) binarizing the acquired image of step (a) using a threshold value; (c) determining whether the binarized image of step (b) is distorted; (d) synthesizing the image; (e) determining whether the synthesized image is required to be separated into regions; and (f) performing pattern matching for the respiration-induced signal image. According to the system, a patient can see and control the patient's own motion at a place where the patient's steady respiration or motion is required, and thus the stability of the patient in a radiotherapy treatment process can be ensured.

  • Publication number: 20130225696
Abstract: Disclosed is a dual-transition polymeric hydrogel. Also, provided is the use of the dual-transition polymeric hydrogel as a carrier for drug delivery and disease diagnosis, or in the preparation of a polymeric hydrogel-type pharmaceutical composition comprising the physiologically active agent loadable into the block copolymer. Being sensitive to pH as well as temperature, the block copolymer can form a more stable hydrogel at suitable temperatures and pH values. In addition, the block copolymer exhibits a dual transition behavior with pH values so that it can carry ionic drugs, proteins, DNA, and markers, whether positively or negatively charged, simultaneously. Therefore, it can be applied to a sustained drug delivery system for sparingly soluble, hydrophobic drugs, and hydrophilic drugs. Further, it is safe to and stable within the body, and is expected to find various applications in the medical field.

  • Publication number: 20130193745
Abstract: A speed restricting wheel assembly is provided. The speed restricting wheel assembly includes: a casing of which one side is partially open and forms a circular accommodating hole eccentric from a center; a rotation rotor which is inserted inside the accommodating hole and rotates in an interlocked manner with the casing in a state where it is eccentric from a rotation center of the casing, but which also forms a rotation space inside and a plurality of internal gear teeth dented radially from the rotation space; a sun gear accommodated inside the rotation space, and has a plurality of protruding external gear teeth in contact with the internal gear teeth and an axis member mounted onto a rotation center accommodated inside the rotation hole; and a resistance fluid which is accommodated in a space between the external gear teeth and internal gear teeth.

  • Publication number: 20130172231
Abstract: Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition comprising a Smad6-derived peptide as an active ingredient. Having ability to specifically bind to Pellino-1, the Smad6-derived peptide is effectively useful in the treatment of the sepsis mediated by excessively activated TLR. The peptide effectively reduces the expression of inflammatory cytokines, protects cells from sepsis-induced apoptosis, and exhibits high bacterial clearance in animal models of sepsis.
