  • Patent number: 11465794
Abstract: A packaging line implemented for packaging a pre-filled syringe is disclosed having a NSD mounting station, a PFS delivery arrangement adapted to automatically deliver a pre-filled syringe to the NSD mounting station, and a NSD delivery arrangement adapted to automatically deliver a needle safety device to the NSD mounting station. The NSD mounting station is arranged to automatically assemble the needle safety device to the pre-filled syringe. A NSD visual inspection station is adapted to automatically identify a pre-filled syringe with an unfit needle safety device and to automatically eliminate the identified pre-filled syringe from the packaging line. A re-insertion station is further provided to receive a pre-filled syringe with a needle safety device and to automatically feed the received pre-filled syringe, preferably from a rejected secondary packaging, back into the packaging line, after the NSD mounting station and before the NSD visual inspection station.

  • Patent number: 8612756
Abstract: Certain embodiments of this disclosure include methods and devices for adjusting the precision of location information. According to one embodiment, a method is provided. The method may include: obtaining a request for location information from an application; determining that the location information needs to be adjusted; obtaining the location information; adjusting the location information, wherein the adjusting includes: (i) adding noise to the location information to obtain noisy location information, (ii) discretizing the noisy location information to obtain discretized location information, and (iii) hysteresizing the discretized location information to obtain adjusted location information. The adjusted location information may then be provided to the requesting application.

  • Publication number: 20040115390
Abstract: The invention relates to fall arrester for damping a falling body, which substantially comprises a fall arrester element (3) that is linked with connecting elements (1, 2) via load suspension means (1′, 2′). The fall arrester element (3) consists of at least one fiber bundle of a thermoplastic polymer with a stress-elongation behavior that is characterized by a wide elongation range (&egr;1, &egr;2) in which a substantially continuous force transduction takes place. In a load situation, the fall arrester element (3) is subject to an elongation (&Dgr;L) from the instant when the load builds up to when the falling body comes to a stop. The decisive parameters for designing the fall arrester element (3) are the material used, the elongation behavior thereof and the length and number of fibers from which the material is made. The invention further relates to the use of said fall arrester in safety belts in vehicles, planes, high-speed trains, buses, motor bikes and in mountaineering.

  • Patent number: 6739832
Abstract: The exhaust turbocharger includes an exhaust gas turbine and a turbine casing, in which is formed the volute inlet flow duct which starts with an inlet connection. An exhaust gas flow is carried to the exhaust gas turbine in this duct. The turbocharger also includes a flow straightener, which is arranged in the inlet connection and guides the exhaust gas flow in the volute direction of the inlet flow duct.

Abstract: The exhaust turbocharger includes an exhaust gas turbine (3) and a turbine casing (1), in which is formed the volute inlet flow duct (2) which starts with an inlet connection (5). An exhaust gas flow (4) is carried to the exhaust gas turbine (3) in this duct (2) . The turbocharger also includes a flow straightener (8), which is arranged in the inlet connection (5) and guides the exhaust gas flow in the volute direction (10) of the inlet flow duct (2).

  • Patent number: 5756944
Abstract: A circular-cylindrical filter muffler includes damping elements (3) arranged with their damping surfaces (11, 12) parallel to the central axis (13) of the filter muffler housing (2), which is cast as a monobloc. The damping elements are arranged in grooves (8) of the housing walls. The damping elements (3) include a damping plate (9) which encases an absorption element (10). In the assembled state the damping plates (9) form, with the coarse filter segments (15) arranged on them on the circumference of the filter muffler, a coarse filter ring which is surrounded by an annular filter (4). The advantages of the invention are, in addition to the simplified production and assembly of the components, the reduction of different components and the lower weight along with improved muffling.
