    Abstract: A method for identifying a subset (41) out of a set (40) of mobile computing devices (10) at a venue (30) comprises broadcasting a trigger signal to the set of mobile computing devices at the venue, receiving the trigger signal by the mobile computing devices in the set, and rendering visual content on the displays of the mobile computing devices in the set after reception of the trigger signal. Subsequently those mobile computing devices that are not part of the subset are caused to stop rendering the visual content, while those mobile computing devices that are part of the subset continue to render the visual content. Finally only those mobile computing devices that belong to the subset remain rendering the visual content.
