  • Patent number: 9900852
Abstract: Described herein are technologies related to an implementation of interference mitigation in a receiver of a portable device. A preemptive-automatic gain control (AGC) system mitigates a collocated or external interfering signal in a receiver of a portable device. The receiver of the portable device receives and processes a data packet of a first radio frequency (RF) signal that includes a Bluetooth (BT) signal, a Wi-Fi signal, a near field communications (NFC), 3G, 4G, or the like. During the processing of the data packet, a collocated or an external second RF signal is detected and received by the receiver. The second RF signal includes an interfering Bluetooth (BT) uplink transmission, a near field communications (NFC) transmission signal, a Wi-Fi transmission signal, 3G or 4G uplink transmission, an LTE signal, or the like.

  • Publication number: 20050042931
Abstract: An Ethernet connector may have capacitively coupled terminals to reduce cross talk. In particular, a near end cross talk may be reduced in some embodiments by coupling non-adjacent channels. For example, non-adjacent channels coupled to complementary signals may be capacitively coupled.

  • Publication number: 20030115523
Abstract: An apparatus and method for trouble shooting devices contained within a digital electronic system using external test equipment and scan module contained within the devices. Upon receipt of an external event trigger by the scan module, the operations of the device are halted. The contents of the flip-flops contained within the device are held constant. Thereafter, the contents of the flip-flops may be transmitted serially from the device to the external test equipment. Communication lines between the external test equipment and the device may be embedded within a baseboard in which the devices are attached.

  • Patent number: 5864651
Abstract: A system and method for on-demand printing is provided. The system includes at least one image capturing device, preferably a digital camera, which captures images during an event. The images captured by the digital cameras are transmitted to at least one printing station in which the captured images are stored and displayed, preferably but not necessarily after editing. The spectators of the event may request during the event, or shortly after, that any of the displayed images will be printed and the printing system of the present invention is suited to address their request on demand, i.e. it prints the desired image within a short time, preferably in the range of tens of seconds.

  • Patent number: 5615282
Abstract: A method and apparatus for adapting a digital representation of a first color image for output representation by an output device having spatial and color characteristics are disclosed. The apparatus includes apparatus for modifying the spatial characteristics of the digital representation of the first color image and the color characteristics of the first color image to correspond to the spatial and color characteristics of the output device such that, in an output representation, the color characteristics of the first color image would be substantially preserved. The method includes the step of modifying the spatial characteristics of the digital representation of the first color image and the color characteristics of the first color image to correspond to the spatial and color characteristics of the output device such that, in an output representation, the color characteristics of the first color image would be substantially preserved.
